I. Women’s LiberationA. NOW, the National Organization of Women,

was founded in 1966

IV. Cesar Chavez and the UFWA. Cesar Chavez was a union

organizer for farm workers in CA.

B. He started a nationwide boycott of grapes until the owners recognized his union.

1. Mexican and Filipino farm workers which represented the Filipino-dominated Agricultural Workers Organizing (AWOC) Committee and the Mexican-dominated National Farm Workers Association (NFWA)
