Create Project CJ2D

Definition:- There are different ways to create a project in PS. It can be created using

Project builder – CJ20N Project Planning board – CJ27 Structure planning – CJ2D Project Definition only – CJ06

Project contains Project definition, WBS element, Network and Activities. It is possible to create all at once or individually. Let us try to understand how to create project using CJ2D transaction code. Prerequisite:- Proper authorization to create project. Menu Path:- Logistics → Project system → Basic Data Project → Special Maintenance Functions Structure Planning

Create Project CJ2D Double click CJ2D

Click to find the next running number Enter the required series to find the next number in that series

number proposed Click Enter project profile. Enter start and finish date Click

Click Enter project definition text. E.g.

Note:- this is same as explained already in other methods of project definition creation. Click Maintain the required data as per the project

Click and maintain detailed description if required. From the top of the menu goto WBS element

Maintain the WBS element as shown below

Select the row Click Enter start and finish date

Select the row and click at the bottom Maintain Basic data

Click Maintain the settlement rule asset as receiver.

Click Click and maintain entry as required

Click

Select the row Click Maintain scheduling

Click Click Maintain the data as shown below.

Click From the project definition using menu from the top as shown below, release the project
