Using a gentle axial reciprocating rotation withincreased apical force, the hydraulic effectoccurs from the compression of the ligament andthe root wll be lifted from the confines of its bony

socket. It is important that you protect the tissues andstructures adjacent to the surgical site.

It is recommended that you place the thumb and

forefinger of the opposite hand around thealveolar ridge at the surgical site. This placement increases tactile feel to detect

immediately any movement of the tooth or dislocation of the EAZ Out.
