The following steps are used to mull clad windows together. Clad Mull Instructions LINCOLN WOOD PRODUCTS, INC. 1. Place the units on a flat surface with the exterior facing up. 3. Apply the mull cap on the face being mulled. The mull cap is designed to snap into the face groove on the frame clad. Where mull cap covered silicone bead noted in Step #2, re-apply a bead of silicone. This bead must connect with existing Step #2 bead. 2. Apply a liberal bead of silicone compound to the jamb of one unit. 4. Bring both units together. While holding units together tightly, apply 4 corrugated fasteners at the frame joints. 5. Using 1/2" x 3/4" staples, fasten structural mull plates to both the frame joints. 6. Apply the nailing fins, drip cap and corner protectors as required. 7. Apply silicone to the frame clad joints as shown in the photo. This completes Mull Assembly. 12/3/07

3. Apply the mull cap on the face being mulled. Themull cap is designed to snap into the face groove onthe frame clad.

Where mull cap covered silicone bead noted in Step#2, re-apply a bead of silicone. This bead mustconnect with existing Step #2 bead.

2. Apply a liberal bead of silicone compound to thejamb of one unit.

4. Bring both units together. While holding unitstogether tightly, apply 4 corrugated fasteners atthe frame joints.

5. Using 1/2" x 3/4" staples, fasten structuralmull plates to both the frame joints.

6. Apply the nailing fins, drip cap and cornerprotectors as required.

7. Apply silicone to the frame clad joints asshown in the photo.

This completes Mull Assembly.
