RAB™ board is a 6mm specialised fibre cement rigid air barrier that can be used beneath facade systems and external claddings, providing added protection against the elements.
The board is sealed with James Hardie’s proprietary penetrating sealer technology, keeping water, air and wind out, while allowing moisture vapour to easily escape. RAB™ board is deemed non-combustible.
RAB™ board’s exceptional strength helps equalise air pressure inside the wall cavity, allowing buildings to withstand up to 7kPa high wind pressures.
