CULTURE

Culture is a funny thing – a bit elusive and hardtodene.Itmightmeanonethingtoyouandperhaps have quite another meaning to someoneelse.Is“culture”justinmuseums?Orbooks?Orisitinourheads?Orinourhearts?Orisitsomeever-changingmixtureofmanyparts?Nomatterwhat it is, being in it, surrounded by it makes allthe difference.

It’sonethingtoreadaboutLondon’sWestminsterAbbeyorIndia’sTajMahal;it’squiteanothertostandinsidethemortalktoaLondoneroranIn-dian about what those buildings mean to them.

ThefamousMexicanauthorCarlosFuenteswrote“Culture consists of connections, not of separa-tions.”

CLAM teaches you how to connect to the cultureyou are experiencing. You get to tell your storyof being in, experiencing, and learning something

new, fresh, and exciting. You get to network andexperience culture as only travelling abroad letsyou.

It’s all about Culture, Literacies, and working Across Media:
