Untuk menyatakan kemampuan (ability).Contoh:I am able to speak four languages.She is not able to come to my house tonight.

4. Could have + past participle

sebenarnya pada saat itu saya (atau siapa saja) bisa, tetapi saya tidak lakukan .

Lawannya:Could not have + past participle.

Contoh:Last night I was sick. Then, my friends came. They asked me to go out with them. Eventough I was sick but they forced me to go. Finally, I went out with them

Now, I say: I could not have gone with my friends (but I went with them).
