STANFORD REUNION HOMECOMING WEEKEND: OCTOBER 21–24, 2010 CLASS O F 1950 Dear Classmate, As you already know, our 60th Reunion is coming up this year on October 21-24. We find it hard to believe that so many years have passed since we graduated from Stanford. We hope to see many of you at the different events scheduled. There are several that are just for the Class of ’50, but others that will be of great interest to you as well. Just for our class will be … Class lunches on Thursday and Friday located (1) in our class tent. These lunches are wonder- ful opportunities to visit with one another. Our Class Panel discussion titled “Careers, Adventures and Outlooks,” on Friday afternoon from (2) 1:00 - 2:45 p.m. Gregg Bemis is our class panel coordinator and has put together a wonderful event. We are looking forward to hearing from the panelists and then having the chance to ask questions. Our Friday night dinner at the Stanford Park Hotel will be from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. The evening (3) begins with a cocktail hour which will allow us all to reconnect. We will have hosts and hostesses to greet you and help with table seating arrangements. Come alone or come with a guest, all are welcome. The class tailgate on Saturday from 11:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., before the football game vs. (4) Washington State, should be most enjoyable. We’ll have the chance to observe up close the latest Stanford Band and also hear from some Stanford singing groups. There will also be several class Mini-Reunions. If you need assistance coordinating a mini- reunion, you should contact Jake Wellington at the Stanford Alumni Association: 650-725-4239 or [email protected]. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to come, so if you still have questions, contact the reunion registration hotline at 650-724-3717. You can come for one event or the entire weekend, BUT just try very hard to come. Doing so will make our 60th a great time for all.
