Introduction This document contain step-by-step instructions to create student block for subject, class
block for subject, and enroll student into their respective subject class.
Instruction for Class Allocation (Subject)
Create Student Block
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Block Enrollment
> Create Student Block.

2. Click on Add a New Value tab.
3. Enter the Student Enrollment Block. Student block code = SSSS-YLCCCTTTTT
Eg: 5001-5TLWRMAT, 5005-5AUPRENG
SSSS: School No
Dash
Y: Year (Eg: 2015 = 5, 2016 = 6)
L: Level (Eg: Year 1 = 1, Year 9 = 9)
CCC: Class Section (Eg: A, B, C)
TTTTT: Subject/Group (Eg: Mathematics = MAT, English = ENG)

4. Click Add button.
5. User will be directed to Block Enrollment Students page.
6. Copy the Student Enrollment Block into Description.

7. Copy and paste student ID and select the Academic Career of the student the user wish
to enroll into the class.
8. Click on the “+” icon to add more students.
9. Repeat step 7 & 8. Click on View All to view all the student IDs.

10. When the selection of the students for the class is done, click on the Save button.
Create Class Block
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Block Enrollment
> Create Class Block.

2. Click on Add a New Value tab.
3. Enter the Class Enrollment Block. Class Enrollment Block = Student Enrollment Block.

4. User will be directed to the Block Enrollment Classes page.
5. Copy the Class Enrollment Block into Description.

6. Enter Term as “1510” and ensure Action is set as “Enroll”.
7. Click on the look-up button for Class Nbr.

8. User will be directed to Search Block Enrollment Classes page.
9. Click on the dropdown button and select the Course Subject.

10. Click on the dropdown button and select the Course Career.
11. Click on the green arrow for Additional Search Criteria.

12. More search criteria will be shown.
13. Click on the dropdown list and select Campus.

15. User will be directed to the Search Result page.

16. Look for the class section the user wish to enroll the students into and click on the Select
Class button.
17. User will be directed back to the Enrollment Request page.
*Note: Write down Class Nbr so you can check the Class Roster.

18. Check the Action Date.
19. Enter the Action Dt as the first day of the term (for 2015 term 1 – Start date is 5th Jan
2015)
20. Click on the Save button.

Merge Block Enrolment
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Block Enrollment
> Block Enroll Merge.
2. Click on Add a New Value tab.

3. Enter the corresponding Student Block and Class Block into the respective field.
4. Click on the Merge button.

5. Click on the Submit button.
6. User will be directed to Block Enroll Merge page.
Click “Search” button.

7. User will be directed to merging result page.
Request Status will be “Success”.
If Request Status is “Error”, this is because the students have already been enrolled in
their registration class.

8. Click on the Retrieve button to view details of the class successfully enrolled.
9. User will be directed to the Block Enroll Detail page.

10. Click on the Detail link to view details of the class.
11. User will be directed to the Block Enrl Detail1 page.
12. To view other student’s class details, click the Block Enroll Detail tab.

Verify Class Roster
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Class Roster > Class Roster.
2. Search for Class Roster by
Term: 1510
Class Nbr: *Enter the class selected during creating class block
3. User will be directed to Class Roster page.
