When you enter the lab, you are to walk in quietly and sit down at your computer. Dont touch the computers until I tell you to begin your assignment. It is important that you stay in your seat during the whole class. You may not get up and walk around the room. There are red cups near your computer. We use these for many different things. Most of the time, they are used for letting me know that you have finished the assignment. It works like this: you put your red cup up when you begin your work. I remove it when you are done. There are also headphones at each computer. You will need these for some activities, like the one you are are doing now. The sound can be adjusted on the keyboard. If you cant find the adjustment keys, ask your neighbor to show you. If you still cant hear, check your headphone for an adjustment. After you have tried everything and you still cant hear, tell me. You must ask to go to the bathroom. Be prepared to stay the whole class without going because sometimes no one gets to leave the room. If I am letting student go to the bathroom that day, only one person may go at a time. Please wash and dry your hands in the bathroom. The refocus table is next to the door you came in. If you are asked to do a refocus, I will give you the refocus and a pencil. Sit quietly at the table and write. Your answers must be in complete sentences. I must be able to read what you have written. After finishing your refocus, wait quietly until I come to you. Do not interrupt me with another student. If you get two refocuses in the 45 minutes you are in computers, you will have lunch detention that day. This means that you will eat by your self and miss part of your recess. How much recess you miss will depend on your behavior.5End of ClassClose all programsTurn aroundWait to be dismissed

At the end of class, close all programs running on your computer. Then turn around and wait quietly to be dismissed. When you are dismissed, you leave in a single file line out the back door. If your teacher is not in the hallway waiting for you, we will all wait quietly until your teacher comes.6NextLookAskDifferent assignment?

Now you are ready to join the class. Look to see what your neighbor is doing. Ask them to help you do it too. If you are to have a different assignment, Ill stop and show you what it is.7
