Solutions fills a gap in
Qatar’s energy sector by
supporting, maintaining and
improving the industry’s
infrastructure.

and re-certification services;

instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and
API equipment;
• the design and engineering of energy and
energy-related equipment;
• onsite and in-house custom machining, fabrication

At the heart of our operation is the Oryx Engineering Solutions Centre, a
15,000 sq m facility within the Ras Laffan Industrial City, staffed and
equipped with all the engineering and operational skills and facilities required
to sustain and expand our range of value-added services.
The driving force behind the success of our Centre is our desire to outperform in the
quality of our work. While our rapid response times help minimise downtime, the
application of key project management skills and benchmarking and monitoring
processes helps improve our efficiency across the entire spectrum of our engineering
solutions.
Oryx Wood Group Services – our joint venture with Wood Group – spearheads our activities in
Qatar’s operational and outsourcing market. It focuses on industrial operation and
maintenance, shutdown and turnaround and brown-field engineering contracts.
Our constant aim is to ensure that Oryx Engineering Solutions sustains its position as the leading
provider of support services for the upstream and downstream industries of Qatar.

was set up to meet the

Working closely with a number of market
leaders, including our joint venture partners,
Clarendon Parker, and our associates, OilExec
International, we have developed a broad
portfolio of human resource services designed to
meet the market's expanding needs.
Through a network of on-the-ground centres and
online recruitment services, backed by staffing
consultation and training programmes, we maintain a
database of highly trained and experienced professional,
technical and administrative personnel capable of meeting the
requirements of organisations working in a variety of contracting,
engineering and engineering-related industries - including
exploration, reservoir evaluation, and field development, production
and maintenance - as well as office administration and financial
services.
In every case, prospective on-demand team members are identified and
recruited either by our own Human Resources teams, or by our partners'

of their qualifications and skills and a thorough evaluation of their suitability for
Oryx-staffed operations.
