Note: This booklet contains a tentative programme of activities and functions along with the syllabi and school almanac.

A. Introduction The holistic development of the child involves the amalgamation of the scholastic and co-scholastic domains of pupil's growth. Thus, multifarious opportunities are provided and the curriculum is planned with an integrated approach through which we try to inculcate the habits of regular study, discipline, sense of responsibility, co-operation, community service and civic consciousness in our children to face the future challenges with confidence.

B. Evaluation And Promotion1. Apart from Final Term Examination there will be three Cycle / Class tests and one First Term Examination during the academic year for each subject.

Note: Pr.: Practical, PR: Project, IA: Internal Assessment.* Class / Cycle Tests will be held on every Monday as per the schedule mentioned in the syllabus. • In case there happens to be a holiday on the day of a particular test, the test will be held on the next working day.• It is mandatory for each student to appear in each Class / Cycle Test, First Term Exam and the Final Exam.• Each student should have 75% of attendance in each term, to be eligible to appear in First Term Exam and Final Exam. • In order to pass, a student has to secure 33% marks in each subject. In a subject involving practical work, a student must obtain 33% marks in the

theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate.• Student will be promoted to the next class as per CBSE norms. • Should a student fail to appear for a test / exam (on whatever grounds), he / she would have to appear for a retest and submit Rs.200/- as the fee

towards retest.

2. The answer sheets of Class tests and other exams having been checked by the teacher will be sent to the parents for their information and signature

/ acknowledgement.

• The answer sheets after being signed by the parents have to be sent to the concerned class teacher the very next day for verification.

• Any re-totalling / rechecking of answer sheet will not be entertained, once the student leaves the classroom.

3. Scheme of studies and their evaluation is as per CBSE curriculum:• The subjects in which marks have to be awarded include: English, Mathematics , Business Studies, Accountancy and Economics.

• The following compulsory internal assessment subjects/activities/qualitites will be awarded grades as per the under mentioned grade keys on the basis of continuous

and comprehensive evaluation:

- Work Education: The student has to opt for any one of the following options:
