Kathy pallie

Kathy pallie enjoyed a career in commercial art, designing products for retail store windows and interior displays, trade show booths and special events. This involved working with many different materials. When I retired and put my hands into clay, I knew this was an exciting material which I had to explore further.

Luis Blanco

Luis Blanco Garcia is a Zapotec Indian from the village of Atzompa in Oaxaca Mexico. He has worked with clay for almost 42 years and learned the craft from his mother Teodora, a prominent clay artist, and according to Luis creator of the first “Chia Pet”. Her work can be found at the International Folk Art Museum of Santa Fe, at the Rockefeller Collection, at the Folk Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas and Orly Airport in Paris, France.

Johnson Tsang

Kathleen dustin

Widely recognized as one of the world's leading polymer clay artists, Kathleen Dustin has been a pioneer, an educator, and source of inspiration for those interested in this emerging medium. Her exquisite evening bags and polymer clay jewellery are celebrated for their translucent depth of surface and vibrant colours as well as attention to the details of the natural world that inspires her. Kathleen’s desire is to make wearable art that can enable anyone to embrace Oscar Wilde’s sentiment, “One must either be a work of art or wear a work of art”.

John Mason

John Mason (born in 1927 in Madrid, Nebraska) is a contemporary American artist. From very early on, Mason’s work focused on exploring the physical properties of clay and its “extreme plasticity.” [1] Mason is recognized for his focus and steady investigation of mathematical concepts relating to rotation, symmetry, and modules as well as his formal innovation with the ceramic medium.

Henry Moore

Henry Moore was the most important British sculptor of the 20th century, and the most popular and internationally celebrated sculptor of the post-war period. Non-Western art was crucial in shaping his early work - he would say that his visits to the ethnographic collections of the British Museum were more important than his academic study. Later, leading European modernists such as Picasso, Arp, Brancusi and Giacometti became influences. And uniting these inspirations was a deeply felt humanism.
