CLC-011 Lane Controller The CLC-011 (COMPLEX lane controller model 010) is specifically designed to meet the needs of the toll industry. The unit is designed for mounting located in the manual toll collection booth or automatic toll collection machine. An industrial PC is a main part of lane controller with CPU technology standard. Isolated digital I/O support, at least 6 serial and USB communication ports, parallel port, 10/100baseT network support, hard disk or flash disk storage, and the Windows operating system provide a solid platform to support manual toll collection, automatic toll collection machines, ETC, or weighing station. The lane controller designing is based on the high reliability and easy maintenance purpose. In the photo, shows the internal front view layout of lane controller cabinet with the equipment layout. The flexible sizes of Lane Controller can be designed to follow the toll booth spec and requirement. Additional options are supported to increase the Lane Controller performance. The CLC-011 (COMPLEX lane controller model 010) is specifically designed to meet the needs of the toll industry. The unit is designed for mounting located in the manual toll collection booth or automatic toll collection machine.

An industrial PC is a main part of lane controller with CPU technology standard. Isolated digital I/O support, at least 6 serial and USB communication ports, parallel port, 10/100baseT network support,hard disk or flash disk storage, and the Windows operating system provide a solid platform to support manual toll collection, automatic toll collection machines, ETC, or weighing station.

The lane controller designing is based on the high reliability and easy maintenance purpose. In the photo, shows the internal front view layout of lane controller cabinet with the equipment layout. The flexible sizes of Lane Controller can be designed to follow the toll booth spec and requirement.

Additional options are supported to increase the Lane Controller performance.

• SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTIONA short circuit on any DC output will cause the power to latch. PFD-011 Patron Fare Display

The PFD-011 (COMPLEX Patron Fare Display or Toll Fare Indicator) is specifically designed to meet the needs of the toll industry. The unit is designed for mounting located in the manual toll collection booth or automatic toll collection machine that are not free flow toll collection system.

An industrial micro-controller board is a main processing part of PFD. The ultra-brightness LEDscan display as 7-segment digit toll fare with optional vehicle classes and balance of driver account, etc. With optional colors and features, thePFD will be able to adjust the suitable brightness of LEDs for different day and night time display.

The PFD is outdoor and waterproof equipment. No mechanical moving part of 7-segment display suitable for more reliability for hush environment. In the photo, shows the external front view layout of PFD cabinet with the data-to-display layout. The flexible size and data-to-display of product can be designed to follow the toll booth spec and requirement.

Summary

Processor : Industrial micro-controller board of each segment is standard.

7-Segment LED : Each digit has 84 pieces of 5mm diameter Ultra-brightness amber or red LEDs.

Brightness Display : TCS has a special option of brightness control of PFD. With special option, the PFD will automatically adjust the suitable brightness of display for the day and night time by system parameter set up by Plaza or Main Center.

Communications : RS-422/485 or electrical current loop for high accuracy data communication.

Power : 120/240VAC 1A or 12/24VDC 3A forinternal PFD circuit.

Temperature : 0 to +55oC operating temperature with optional -20 to +70oC

Dimensions : 60(H)x45(W)x20(D)cm, 20Kgs.including 10.5cm diameter of the traffic sign(red/green lamp) with optional size depended on the data to display.

Maintenance : Easy to maintenance with long life.The display can be controlled as test running for easy to test the fault digit. The maintenance technician can test the fault LEDs easily.

Other Optional Features : Flexible style design supports to the suitable data to display. The next page is some samples of PFD support several payment system such as prepaid, instant, and credit payment. The other technology of display modules can be supported such as Magnetic flip-flop display, sunlight readable LCD, etc. The LCD display will be new concept for colorful with flexible and powerful display for patron fare display. The PFD can be added weather sensors for automatic brightness adjustment.

PFD-020 LCD Patron Fare Display

The PFD-020 (COMPLEX Sunlight Readable LCD Patron Fare Display or Toll Fare Indicator) is specifically designed to meet the needs of the toll industry. The PFD is designed for mounting located in the manual toll collection booth or automatic toll collection machine, not for free flow toll collection system.

The PFD-020 is designed for new concept of patron fare display with latest technology (sunlight readable LCD). The flexible colorful messages can be displayed such as text, graphics, symbols and pictures.

PFD-020 is high brightness suitable for even strong sunlight environment called sunlight readable LCD. The special programmable brightness will adjust the brightness for suitable visible of patron because of different brightness environment such as day and night time.

The colorful display will be attractive and good image of toll way. The form & pattern of messages can be easily changeable without changing hardware saving a lot of costs.

Size : The standard size of LCD is 17” diagnostic length but the other optional sizes can be supported such as 20.1” or bigger.

CRS-010 Class Repeat Sign

The CRS-010 (COMPLEX Class Repeat Sign) is specifically designed to meet the needs of the toll industry. The CRS unit is designed for mounting located in the manual toll collection booth or automatic toll collection machine. The purpose of CRS is for supervisor in the toll plaza watching the real time operations of toll collection.

An industrial micro-controller board is a main partof CRS. The special ultra-brightness red and amber LEDs can display as 7-segment digit of vehicle classes from booth operator or/and classification system. With option, the CRS will adjust the suitable brightness of LEDs for different day and night time display.

The CRS is outdoor and waterproof equipment. No mechanical part of 7-segment display helps more reliability for dusty and hush environment. In the photo, shows the external front view layout of CRS cabinet. The flexible size and data-to-display of product can be designed to follow the toll booth spec and requirement. CRS is a standard part of many toll collection systems.

Brightness Display : TCS has a special option of automatic brightness control of CRS. The CRS will automatically adjust the suitable brightness of display for the day and night time by system parameter set up by Plaza or Main Center.

Temperature : 0 to +60oC operating temperature with optional -20 to +70oC

Dimensions : 44(H)x75(W)x10(D) cm, 10Kgs.with optional sizes depended on the data to display.

Enclosure : Steel, powder paint finish with optional color. The other enclosure materials are able to be supported.

Maintenance : Easy to maintenance with long life than mechanical display. The display can be controlled as test running for easy to test the fault digit. Self diagnostic firmware can test the fault LEDs helping the maintenance technician easily tests at site.

Other Optional Features : Flexible style design supports to the suitable data to display. The optional special digit can be supported of payment type: C (Cash), U (Voucher), P (Prepaid Card), A (Automatic payment), E (Exempt), etc.The other technology of display modules can be supported such as Magnetic flip-flop display, etc.The system can be added weather sensors as options for automatic brightness adjustment.

High Brightness LCD Monitor

The LCD-010H (COMPLEX High Brightness LCD Monitor for Toll Collector) is VDU (Visual Display Unit), an important data output equipment for toll collector (or toll booth operator). The LCD-010H will be integrated to support the Complex’s TCS for higher performance than general CRT monitors.

The VDU of toll collector shows the data from TCS to the toll collector. While the KB (Keyboard) is also an important part that helps the toll booth collector communicate with the TCS.

The LCD-010H of Complex’s Toll System standard is a high brightness LCD designed suitable for strong sunlight environment. The display will be bright and clear for toll collector. The LCD-010H will be installed front temper glass for LCD surface protection with high reliability and low maintenance time and costs.

The LCD-010H-TS will be an option for LCD-010H with Touch Screen for non-keyboard operations. However, the touch screen monitor needs to be designed the suitable factors such as the in-booth collector desk and its height, etc.

Toll Collector Keyboard

The KB-010 (COMPLEX Toll Collector Keyboard)is an important equipment for toll collector (or toll booth operator). The KB-010 will be integrated to support the Complex’s TCS for higher performance than general PC keyboards.

The KB (Keyboard) of toll collector is a data input equipment of TCS receiving data from the toll collector to TCS. While the VDU (Visual Display Unit) is an important part as data output equipment of TCS to display to the toll collector.

The KB is designed as user-friendly concept : key functions, key positions, frequency of each key, size of each key, heavy duty, low maintenance time and costs, etc. The KB-010 will be installed collector ID magnetic card reader as an option.

Some VDU may be installed touch screen for non-keyboard operations. However, the touch screen VDU needs for designed suitable area of toll booth front desk such as position and desk height, etc. While the touch screen is installed, the KB can be also installed for second data input equipment.
