No seasonal variation in the source of Drinking Water90 per cent of HH depend on tap water supplied

from Gram Panchayat in the regionAccessibility

59 per cent of the Households get water in their premises

40 per cent of the Households fetch water FGD revealed that Rs.500 per household was spent

on getting piped water to the house premisesIn 26.78% of the HH, male adults fetch waterMale Children out number female children in fetching

water

Assessment of Water Quality and Public Health9 out of 10 villages have more Fluoride level of 1.5

mg per litre.5 out of 10 villages have higher level of TDSIncidence of joint pains across all 10 villages in the

age group of 23 to 40 years and above 40 year.

Last mile connectivity…But not first mile of conservation…

AnalysisSchemes focus only on supply with little

consideration of quality of water.

Poor quality of implementation of the scheme at grassroots and lack of water harvesting measures.

Inadequate funds and the States inability to draw more funds because of low utilization levels in the previous years.
