Clean, Disinfect & Protect

The New

“Standard of Care”

BactiBarrier® Cleaning System

Double Protects the spaces we live and work in with a safe, bonded antimicrobial.

It keeps on working!!

Even when you are not there.

Today, advances in

antimicrobial technology

provides building

occupants extra

protection and insurance

from the spread of

harmful microbes.

A Value Added

“We Care”

Service

We all know that moisture is an ingredient for bacteria and mold growth – What else do we need to know?

Microbes are the Oldest Living Organisms on Earth

 Bacteria

 Mold

 Viruses

We don’t live in a sterile world

How Big Are Microbes? \?

If you imagine you are the size of California, bacteria is the size of a school bus – virus the size of a worm!

Bacteria

Bacteria are microorganisms that have a very simple cellular structure and lack a nuclear membrane (a sac-like structure in a cell containing the cell’s genetic material).

Most abundant like force on earth

Gram + or Gram – Staining technique

10,000 fit on head of pin

Tetanus bacteria

One of the most toxic known to man

•  10,000 bacteria could exist on the head of a pin!

•  Can live up to 200 years

•  Must enter the body through a puncture or wound

What is a microbial contaminant?

Bacteria Fungi Virus

Preventing microbial growth- What can you do?

  Clean and protect surfaces.

Spray and Wipe

Most EPA approved disinfectants say they Kill 99.9% when used in1-10 min.

Not all tested by EPA for ethicacy

BactiBarrier uses a EPA Registered Biocidal Detergent/Disinfectant followed by a EPA Registered BioStatic Protector providing double protection.

Biocides versus Antimicrobials

Biocide agents inactivate active growth (BactiBarrier Step 1)

Antimicrobial Biostatic agents prevent growth (BactiBarrier Step 2)

EPA Antimicrobial Testing Program

o  Conducts and/or oversees research aimed at improving standard efficacy test methods.

o  Has been found inadequate by the EPA Office of Inspector General (Report No. 11-P-0029, 12/15/10): EPA’s program “cannot provide assurance that the product label claims are valid”.

Registered Antimicrobials

o  Over 40% of registered products have never been tested by EPA.

o  OIG reviewed 14 failed products and found the average time between registration and testing of efficacy by EPA was 14 years.

o  BactiBarrier® Has been tested In the field – it has been peer reviewed -Hospital studies prove BactiBarrier® works.

BactiBarrier Cleaning System is Different!!!

  Cleans, Disinfects and Protects

  Double protection (2 step system)

Insurance for areas missed when cleaning

2 ways to stop harmful microbes (Biocidal & Biostatic)

Proven with 30 years of studies

  New “Standard of Care”

How is BactiBarrier® Applied?

1st Clean and apply our disinfectant to all touch surfaces. 2nd Apply using our specially designed electrostatic sprayer or by hand.

Apply BactiBarrier®

Our Process Protects Against:

MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureus) Influenza E. Coli Strep HIV Toxigenic mold Pneumonia Salmonella Mold

Alkyl (C14 60%, C16 30%, C12 5%, C18 5%) dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride Alkyl (C12 68%, C14 32%) dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chloride

Biocide used to chemically inactivate harmful microbes. Kill 99.9 % in 10 minutes

Very common disinfectant used for hard surfaces

What is BactiBarrier® Step 1 Detergent/Disinfectant?

What is BactiBarrier® Step 2 Protector?

Active Ingredient: trihydroxilyl propyldimethyl ammonium chloride

Is it Safe? Yes - It permanently bonds itself to treated surfaces and won’t leach off over time

It works by physically “puncturing” cell membrane

How Step 2 Works

BactiBarrier® creates a permanent bond with a surface that bacteria cannot penetrate. The patented interlocking network of microscopic spikes blocks microorganisms from contaminating surfaces and inhibits their growth, month after month.

How BactiBarrier® Step 2 Works

Antimicrobial Protection is applied in a two step method.

• First is the disinfecting, cleaning and hand wiping of touch surfaces

All of these options provide the appropriate coverage to the targeted surface.

Antimicrobial Protection is applied in a two step method.

• Second is Electrostatic Spraying, which employs electrostatically charged particles directed to the target surface using a specially designed spray wand.

All of these options provide the appropriate coverage to the targeted surface.

Provides assurance for water damage and mold professionals that their remediation work stays clean and sanitized for years!

For Builders and Property Managers

BactiBarrier® provides assurance that new surfaces resist microbial growth from unwanted organisms and the bad press that follows.

Complete Coverage

Electrostatic Applications

Over 4 to 7-fold deposit efficiency improvement Provides uniform dispersion and coating Leaves no visible residue

Reduces “hang-time” Coats air-borne and non-conductive targets 30 to 60 micon spray droplets 900 times smaller droplets that sprayers

OTHER BENEFITS:

Using electrical charges to enhance the

behavior of spray

Can you use the system with trigger sprayer ?

Yes.

All you need is a terry cloth and a trigger sprayer to clean and protect small objects by hand. (Apply to towel and wipe).

Prespray Upolstery with Bridgepoint Favric

Prespray and then apply Step 2 BactiBarrier®

Protector

**Check warranty and fabric for colorfastness

Clean Carpet using Bridgepoint Traffic Slam

and then apply BactiBarrier® Step 2

Protector

**Check warranty and fabric for colorfastness
