Dear BSMA Alumni,As you remember from our last meeting in Ujmurda (Riga), we supposed to have the next BSMAClub meeting in Visby. Opportunely we found several well-off donor organizations financed by USAID and Eurasiafoundation. Organizing committee informed them about BSMA Club, its’ objectives and current condition. In generalUSAID and Eurasia foundation clearly expressed there interest toward BSMA Club and accepted request for the financial support of this event. However we got several suggestions from our donors: due to growing interest toward Alumni networks and its’ development BSMA Club meeting should be one of the constituent of the “Eurasia Alumni Networks Conference” that will take place in seaside resort Ureki, Georgia.
Taking into consideration that participants of this conference are “CEU” (Central European University), “Sorbonne” (France) and “Oxford” Alumni organizations we agreed to this proposal and stated our concern with this project.Unlike to the previous meeting traveling expenses will be unlimited and reimbursed fully. Nevertheless, there is a issue that needs BSMA alumni’s approval. Due to circumstance that attendance of BSMA Alumni students weren’t considered from the beginning, currently appeared that there is no room available at the hotel where members of other Alumni organizations will reside. As an alternative, , BSMA Alumni students will be located in the hotel “Gaajvi”, just a few minutes walking from the conference hall.
In order to receive your opinion about above mentioned issues we are sending you views of Hotel and looking forward to you comments.
