Activity
• Our activity would be in a computer lab playing vowel games on the PBS.com website or Picture Match.com
• Also once back in the classroom working on their own there would be a cut and paste worksheet similar to the games played online.

• There are three games on this website in which you and your student can play.
• Game One: Beginning Letter Sound: The student is shown pictures and has to match the pictures to the correct beginning letter down below.
• Game Two: Short Vowel Sounds: The student is shown a series of pictures and has to match the short vowel sound to the vowel letter below.
• Game Three: Long Vowel Sounds: The student will be shown a picture that he or she must match to the long vowel letter below.
• The students are asked to identify all the short letter vowels out of many words and place them in a bucket. The students can also pick a game where they have to identify all the long vowel sounds.
