Medical Staff ServicesBronson Medical Staff Services provides one place forcredentialed providers to complete paperwork andtraining, relax, have meetings, obtain information, askquestions, and get assistance with meeting managementand communication. The goal is to make things easier forphysicians and providers by offering many resources inone, easy-to-access area.

Our services include:• Administrative support with copying, typing, andmeeting management

• Logistics assistance with parking and badges• Recognition (medical staff leaders, awards, etc)• Privileging requirements and process• Event planning• Professional development opportunities• Communication via tools such as monthly publications,letters, email and intranet

• Onboarding, orientation and training, includingEpic sign offs

LocationThe office is located in suite W-001 on the SouthCampus, garden level, across from the garden atrium.Features of this location include: reception area withupcoming events and information; business center withtwo conference rooms; computer work stations; copymachine and office supplies; and a lounge with eatingarea and casual seating.

Health SciencesLibrary at BronsonThe Health Sciences Library at Bronson provides accessto a wealth of information for members of Bronson’sMedical Staff. The library’s collection includes:• Electronic access to over 2,400 journals• Over 1,200 e-books, including standard medical texts• Electronic resources including AccessMedicine, ClinicalKey,DynaMed, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,Natural Medicines and PubMed.

A link to the library portal is at https://inside.bronsonhg.org/.Click on ‘Departments & Companies’ in the Links boxon the left and then click on ‘Health SciencesLibrary/HealthAnswers.’ Electronic journals, books anddatabases are accessible from all Bronson locations.

The library provides document delivery on request.

Service may be requested by email, telephone or usingrequest forms on the Library portal. Articles are usuallydelivered in one to two business days. In most cases, articlesneeded for immediate patient care can be delivered withinone to two hours of request.

Library staff is also available to provide literature searches,one-on-one instruction using library resources andassistance with other information or research needs.

In Kalamazoo, the Health Sciences Library is located in theLovell Building on North Campus, with a satellite location inthe Medical Office Pavilion in the HealthAnswers ResourceCenter.

In Battle Creek, the Library is located in the OutpatientCenter, second floor, near the Administrative offices. Allproviders have 24 access to the library.
