They loved their driver so much that they actually shed a few tears today when they had to say goodbye (my parents are notorious for adopting everyone they come in contact with. Ha ha:). We just received your "Dreaming Italy" post card, and continue to dream. You may not remember us,

but you organized a trip to Italy three years ago for me and my wife, Kathy for our 30th wedding

anniversary. It was truly the best trip we have ever had, and we talk about it frequently. We recently

took a last minute jaunt to France. The contrast between the organization of these two trips was

astonishing! You are head and shoulders above any other trip organizer we have ever seen. We loved

our trip to Tuscany so much that we plan to return. BUT, we also want to see the Amalfi coast and also

spend some time in Sicily. So, needless to say, you will be hearing from us again, and I will continue to

recommend you to anyone going to Italy.

Everything has been amazing!! I'm not sure how we can return to normal life after this trip. We arrived in Castellina in Chianti this evening and would like to make one change if it's not too much trouble. We had a whole day planned on Via Chiantigiana Monday. We'd like to make that a half day. We would meet Miriam as planned, and carry on through lunch and the tour of Castello di Verranzzo Vineyard, then return to Castellina. If that would work, you can e-mail me back or have Massimo call us here at the hotel. After seeing this village, we'd like to spend a little more time here. Thanks again for everything. Vince - I want to thank you very much for the excellent trip we had to Sicily this year. The

arrangements were exceptional and the guide, Lorenzo was outstanding. The vehicle provided for our

transportation was perfect for our group of six persons and the two drivers of the vehicle were

personable and extremely capable. The room accommodations were all of the first order; we liked the

accommodations best in Erice because they were the most local in nature and very pleasant. The entire

trip was well planned by Plan-it-Italy and very well executed by Lorenzo. Not only did Lorenzo follow

the established itinerary, but he also introduced a few extras that met with our approval. The best extra

was a trip to the crater on Mt. Etna. We would urge you to include that as part of the routine itinerary

for future travelers (but with the warning that it could be difficult for some with respiratory problems

Hi Vince, My husband & I got home from our trip to Italy this past Saturday and I just wanted you to know we had a great time! Everything went smoothly and we were really happy with all aspects of the trip from the hotels to the drivers and guides and the itinerary. Vince: you did a great job! First, Massimo and Lorenzo were great. The itinerary was well planned. I think the kids had a wonderful time—the cooking class was a real hit. Lamborghini, well, what can one say? The juxtaposition of the various geographical locations—mountains, farmland, beach and canals—was an excellent diversion for us. I cannot think of anything that should have been deleted. I am certain you heard about us being cast as extras in a Massimo Baldi film being filmed at the Hotel L’Ancora. The owner, Flavia, was a wonderful host and Katie, Bob’s daughter, somehow was instrumental in getting us put in the film. I hope we make it past the cutting room floor. Eddie survived the bike trip. The guides were wonderful on the bike trip. Claudio, who was our guide thru Emilia-Romagna, was wonderful, as was the woman who took care of us in San Marino. We absolutely loved how everything was planned for us. The pick up at the airport, the

tour guides coming to our hotel at just the exact time they had said. We appreciate your

restaurant suggestions and tried several but also got excellent restaurant

recommendations from the hotels. We had excellent meals and loved the Italian food.

Litiz, PA Vince, Just a short note to let you know how wonderful the trip was to Sicily. It was even further enhanced by our tour escort Lorenzo. Lorenzo was there for all of us when we needed him and gave freely of his time and energy. He was a delight, spoke very good English and couldn't have been more helpful, especially to my wife and me. As you know we missed our flight to Milan and therefore didn't arrive Palermo until about 11:30pm. We were tired and my bag didn't arrive on the flight. Lorenzo was there and helped with the baggage claim problem. From our viewpoint a god send. You hired excellent local guides. He went out of his way, and on his own time to meet us the day of our departure and guide us through the Catania airport. As you know only the transport to the airport was covered in our contract. I can't speak highly enough about his professionalism and enthusiasm. The trip wouldn't have been the same without him. Also your itinerary was excellent. We did forego a couple of village visits to go to Mt Etna and I would suggest that Mt Etna be added to Sicily visits. We all had a great time and would recommend Sicily to any one that asks. The jet lag has left and I can finally send you this note. Throughout our trip we kept saying to

one another "we have to call Vince when we get home". Vince, we had the most wonderful

trip. From start to finish it was a flawless vacation. Every driver, guide and escort was

professional and very very punctual which was a surprise to me. The guides spoke exceptional

English and we learned so much about the history of Italy.

All four of the hotels were unique and beautiful. I found them to be very clean and the

bathrooms modernized. Each had the most elegant decor. I will never forget the day I

opened my window in Castellina on a beautiful sunny day and took in the view.

most spectacular trip we've had in Europe! Italy was magnificent and

doing the Plan-it Italy was breathtaking! The guides were just incredibly

We would have never explored these places with the level of knowledge

the guides shared with us. Even my son was in awe with their

knowledge. The hotels were terrific, their location was perfect. The B&B

in Florence was lovely (around the corner from my son), except since we

faced the plaza, very noisy at night! The hotels in Venice and Rome were

terrific. (I loved the Ottocento) The staff was very accommodating. Your

transfer staff was very efficient and always on time. We especially liked

Hello Vince, I wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience that you orchestrated for my husband and me. Please pass along our thanks to Massimo, too. The tour guides and assistants were top notch, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We have become fast friends with our driver, Massimiliani, from Florence. We were with him for 3 different days and he was so nice to us. We really liked all 3 of the hotels. I was thrilled to have a canal view in Venice and a lake view in Bellagio. The maid service, the fluffy robes and slippers, and the hotel staff made them a great place to stay. We loved our cooking class in Venice. What a treat! Our instructor was really good and I would highly recommend that event to other people. It was one of our trip highlights and one of our best meals on the trip. My favorite food right now is fried zucchini flowers (stuffed with cheese and basil). From that moment on I searched for fried zucchini flowers in every restaurant. My Italian was very poor and I have a strong “American” accent, so some people didn’t understand me. I tried to order the fried zucchini flowers in Bologna, but when the waiter brought us the dish it was a pasta dish that had zucchini in it. That meal turned out to be one of our best, too. Bologna had a great vibe, very hip.

There is just so much to do in Venice and Florence, so I feel like we missed out on a lot. We have a great excuse to go back, for sure. We loved Venice, but we also loved Florence. I loved seeing the small towns in Tuscany, and would love to see more of them another time. Our driver had one of the local take-out food spots in Florence make me fried zucchini flowers (he gave them a day’s notice). Bellagio was a great choice for our final stop. Our hotel was really cute, and so was the town. The town got crowded for the weekend, but it was empty when we got there Friday afternoon. We really enjoyed the ferry rides on the lake and really liked our tour of the villas. It was so nice that we had a message left for us at the hotel confirming our 5 am airport run pick up. The driver didn’t seem to speak any English,

but he did a great job of driving to the airport that morning. We are now totally spoiled, and we wouldn’t want to go back without our private transfers and private assistants and private tour guides. We saw other travelers hauling their suitcases as they were sightseeing and we talked to other travelers who had to navigate around the train stations. Thanks again for all of your time and effort. We will be recommending your services to everybody interested in their next trip to Italy. I will also send a note to Dennis Fiandra very soon. I hope that my next trip to Italy will include Rome and the Amalfi Coast, but it will be hard to not return to Venice and Florence. Best to you, Tammy Keller Texas

Verona - went to the opera; had some great meals; did the wine tour - loved it;

really loved Lake Garda. Venice was splendido, especially the hotel - we liked

very much the hotel in Verona, also. The wedding we attended was like being

on a movie set - the villa was very cool and some of our friends stayed there -

nice!

Anyway, thanks so much for the last minute assistance - when you have a

chance, we would love to share some of our experiences with you.

This was an absolutely seamless trip. All the running to catch trains, cabs, etc. was removed by reserving the private drivers. They were all very professional , friendly and helpful. Our tour guides in Pompeii and Rome were phenomenal! Very intelligent and knowledgable but also friendly. If you don’t have a tour guide and reserve tickets for the Vatican, Colosseum, the David, etc… you will waste a day waiting in lines. We were at the Vatican at 8:45 am and out by 12:30 pm. You have plenty of time to yourself for the rest of the day. The shopping, dinner and tourist suggestions on our itinerary were extremely helpful. It was a relief while traveling abroad knowing if something went wrong we had a contact in Italy through Plan-it Italy. Our hotel accomadations were perfect. I would stay at both again and recommend them. The tips included with our itinerary about Itlay for money, dress, hotels, tipping, weather, etc. were all helpful. Vince, Buongiorno! We are having a great time. The drive around Roma was a fantastic hit. We drove up into the hills for a beautiful view of the city below at dusk. We then found a little local restaurant in a grotto up in the hills. We drove around town after dinner to see the sights illuminated at night. We had a great trip through Orvieto and into Lucca. Lorenzo has been fantastic with the kids and with helping us plan things on the fly when we call audibles. This trip has been great. We walked for hours every day, when we weren't on our tours and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The Hotels were all exquisite and the locations of them were perfect. It was very easy for us to get around on foot. All of our guides were so nice, gracious and so well versed on

everything, we really appreciated that. And what can I say about Marco he was more than accommodating. He is our newly adopted son. We truly loved being with him all those days. He sure knows his way around. We know that wasn't our last visit to Italy. We will be back. You should be proud of your company and all those who work for you. We will highly recommend you to others. In fact on the way home, we were talking to another couple from Boston area. They asked us about our trip and what we did. Of course we told them everything and they were very impressed they asked us for the name of your company and we gave it to them. So take care and hopefully I'll be talking to you in the future. Hi, Vincent. Italy was great! My family had a wonderful time, too. When we were with our tour guides, they kept commenting on how nice it was to bypass lines and have a personal tour guide. They said that they felt bad for "all those people wandering around holding a brochure" when we had our own guide. Said they wouldn't travel through Europe any other way. Good Morning Vince Before I let work get in the way, I wanted to thank you for planning a wonderful trip. We had a wonderful time and will be looking forward to our next trip. The accommodations were wonderful and our drivers were extremely prompt and very friendly. Gabriel was outstanding. He drove us most of the trip. The food and sights were all we could hope for. The people are great, the country is gorgeous, the hotels were excellent, and the food was terrific. I told everyone that this was an exploratory trip for me-that I'm placing my oars in the boat and letting the river take me to wherever......and it worked perfectly.

The guides and drivers were excellent-I learned a lot. The hotel staff I could not say enough about and this country could pick up a few pointers. Hello Vince, I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous trip we are having (though I should have legs in better shape that the Redskin Cheerleaders by the time we get home). As is normal for us, we have packed in much more than you could imagine so far. In addition to all that you planned, we have visited an easy dozen or more churches and Basilicas, the Leonard diVinci Museum (which my girls LOVED), and dozens of fountains, plazas, piazzas, etc. The Pantheon, Vatican, and Ancient Rome were all magnificent. What we would really like you to know is that Manuela was fabulous. She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and fun. We all five loved her. I can't tell you how excited we were when she told us she would be our guide again today. Please let her supervisor know how wonderful we thought she was. We are so happy that we learned of you and had you arrange a tour for us. We had always wanted to see the Puglia area, but didn’t know how to best go about it. Once I contacted you, you really took care of everything, the itinerary, the fantastic hotels, restaurant suggestions, a walking tour for us in Lecce with a local guide, and driver/escort who was invaluable. You planned a wonderful itinerary and we saw so many highlights of that area. You attention to detail is exceptional. I am also extremely happy that we decided to go with a driver/escort

rather than just a driver. Marco was fantastic! We learned so much history and culture from him and it allowed us to appreciate what we were seeing in a way we could have never done on our own. Marco took away the “unknown” factor, comfortable in every situation, always able to make suggestions and help us when we asked. On more than one occasion, he changed the itinerary to suit our needs – not taking away anything but finding a way to add in something that we showed interest in. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him. We are already talking about our next trip and plan to engage your services again. The cars and drivers were great (they sure drive fast) the itinerary was spot on, a good mix of history with an overview of the city and a charming stop for a healthy lunch. Best of all was our guide who was an art history major and never met a question she could not answer in depth, even impressing the engineers in the group regarding the construction of the Coliseum.

Hi Vince! Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for once again,

planning such a great trip for us in Italy. The drivers, the

tour guides, and the accommodations were all wonderful. The

weather was amazing (80’s and sunny every day), as was, of

course, the food (including gelato twice a day)! We loved

seeing some new towns – Assisi was wonderful! - and revisiting

some favorite spots in Rome. I can’t say enough about all that you do in terms of making

arrangements and providing pieces of information that ensure a

smooth journey and stress free traveling between towns. I will

continue to recommend Plan-it Italy to family, friends, and

Hi Vince. It has been over a month since we returned from our trip and KAYLEIGH and I are still

talking about it. Where do I begin? Everything was perfect. Hotels were delightful and all hotel

personnel very accommodating to our every need. Some hotel rooms smaller that the U.S. but lovely.

The guides and drivers. Again..Where do I begin. The guides were so very full of information. They

knew the history of every place and then some. My grand-daughter was impressed. When you can

hold the attention of an l8 year old , you've more than done your job. The drivers were equally

informative and extremely polite. Our favorite, of course, was Marco whom we spent more time with

and shared stories, and felt like he was a member of the family.

Train ride was an adventure and the water taxi in Venice was something we have only seen in the

movies.

A couple of nights ago, Kayleigh asked if we could plan another trip,

I reminded her this was her graduation present and when she graduates college , we will do another

grandma/grand-daughter trip. I know this is something she will always remember.

As you know, this was my third trip with Plan-it-Italy. First two with my husband and brothers

and/wives. We very often sit in an Italian restaurant and over a glass of wine- reminisce about Italy

and the fun times.

Vince - If we are fortunate enough to travel again soon, you certainly will hear from us--no matter

where we are going. Feel free to give my name and e-mail address to anyone who wants a reference.

Since we got home, I have been to Mexico and tomorrow we are going to California to spend time

with our daughter and son-in-law and I try to work in the interim. So, I am very busy for a 76 year old

Rick and I cannot thank you enough again for your great direction and support in the planning process for

our trip to Italy. Some highlights below and we look forward to our next venture exporing this great country.

• Scheduling logistics for 4 geographies in two weeks was scary enough; however all coordination of guides and

public/ personal transportation went without a hitch! This is a huge and often complex task and our

comfort level was at ease from the start.

• Our hats off to all our drivers and tour guides.... Angelo, Claudio, Paulo, Nicoletta, Monica, Claudia !!!!

Magnifico! One of the best decisions we made was to secure the more private tours of desired points of

interest. Not only did it allow for more detailed accounts of each tour/exhibit; it provided the ease of

entering the venues quickly/avoiding long lines, and these time-saving results allowed us to

appropriately schedule the remainder of our days ---either to choose to stay onsite or venture off on our

own! We were able to tack on additional sites/attractions and still get back to a relaxing evening of our

choosing.

• Pace --- Thanks for your understanding and follow through when we asked for an itinerary that truly created a

balance of high-level activities with appropriate down-time; allowing us to also relax and enjoy more

spontaneous adventures, including some of your recommendations. This truly worked for us. We are

also glad we scheduled the latter portion of our stay in areas that supported the more relaxed/ resort-

type activities in Lake Como and the Amalfi Coast!

• Hotels -- Our stays at the St. Regis in Rome, Grand Hotel Baglioni in Florence, Grand Hotel Tremezzo (our

favorite) in Lake Como, and Covo dei Saraceni in Positano were wonderful, great service and friendly/

accommodating staff.

We want to thank you for the most amazing vacation in Italy! It was truly first class! Everything was

perfect, the guides were informative and knowledgeable, the drivers were prompt. Not only was it a

first class vacation, but everything was so easy. Itinerary was perfect!!

Also, special thanks to Danielle our driver for the first week. Danielle you were the best ever!!!

Domenico who was not only our driver, but became our guide throughout Positano and Amalfi, showed

us the best views and went above and beyond with the restaurants. Two of our guides, Leonardo in

Florence and Raphael in Pompeii, they were absolutely fabulous and deserve recognition!

Vincent, I just wanted to let you know that we are having a wonderful time in Italy. Tuscany and Florence were great. The accommodations were perfect. We arrived in Sorrento this afternoon and absolutely love our hotel! You have certainly left us breathless with this one. We can't tell you how much we love our driver, Francisco. He is so friendly and accommodating. We don't know how we got so lucky to have such a fine young man. We feel like he is part of our family. Maybe we will adopt him and bring him back with us! All of our guides have been very knowledgable and have given us so much insight to their
