Analysis...Clinton Hill is a college area with a median age of early thirties and not many family households. With most of the neighborhood having gone to college or graduate school, the data shows more residents having white collar jobs than blue collar. This is also evident by showing that most of the populace has a Bachelors degree proving that Clinton Hill is an educated neighborhood. The male to female ratio is tipped in the females favor, and this can probably attribute to there being less married couples than non married couples. The data findings of low amounts of married couples can factor into the total households and the average number of people living in each household which is roughly about two people.

Culture

LandmarksThe Clinton Hill Historic District includes

mansions built in the 1870’s that are linked to Charles Pratt, owner of an Oil Refinery, who also built the Pratt Institute which was built in 1887.

Clinton hills is also known for its Italianate and Beaux-Arts row houses.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church was built in 1858.

ArtistryClinton Hill is a neighborhood with an artsy

flavor to its culture.

The Idea...

Block party would include games, food, drinks, and artistic development stations

Each station would be a different artistic talent. There would be one for poetry, paintings, dance, rap, etc.

At the stations people would learn and then make creations of their own.

to volunteer in based on their art interests.
