Want to take your fishing to the next level? If you have been on one of our beginners courses and would like to take your fly fishing to the next level this course is ideal for you. It is also ideally suited to those who have been fishing for a few years and wish to improve their skills.Our improves courses begin on our casting lakes, honing your skills. In the afternoon we fish on one of our private stretches of river teaching you various highly successful techniques.

Salmon fishing is often perceived to be very difficult, but join one of our new courses and learn to Spey cast the easy way. These one day intensive courses are the ideal way of getting into salmon fishing and you will learn single and double spey, switch casts, how to spot salmon lies, and much more! If you have ever considered taking up salmon fishing this course is a must as it will fasttrack you to being a successful angler!

Clonanav hosts a number of structured fly fishing schools which cater for both beginners and improvers. The courses are designed to make learning the art of fly fishing fun and easy. Your InstructorAndrew Ryan is one of Ireland’s best know fly fishing in-structors and guides. Owner of Clonanav Fly Fishing School and Shop he has been guiding for over 20 years on the river Suir and tributaries. He first qualified as a REFFIS In-structor in 1993 at the age of only 18; one of the youngest instructors to ever be awarded the qualification. Andrew Ryan is a member of APGAI – Ireland, and holds the FFF Masters and THCI which are the highest casting instruction qualifications in the world. He also holds APGAI, REFFIS, & STANIC Certificates.

IF YOU ARE UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BREAK YOUR ROD, HERE IS SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION.Many of the rods that we sell come with a warranty, some with a lifetime unconditional warranty, some with a 5 year warranty and some with a manufracturers fault warranty. Please keep your warranty card in a safe place as you will need this in the event that you break the rod. Below are the details of the warranties that are included with each rod brand.

WORLDWIDE EXTENDED WARRANTY PRODUCT REPAIR SERVICE

We are delighted that you have chosen a Hardy carbon/glass fibre rod. As an owner of a Hardy carbon/glass fibre rod, you are entitled to take part in the WEW Product Repair Service. To do so, you need to register your rod within 60 days of purchase using the registration form here. You will receive an email confirming your registration.

Once you have registered to take part in the WEW Product Repair Service you will be entitled for the lifetime of the product to the repair or replacement (at our discretion) of damaged, broken or defective sections of your rod in accordance with these terms.

The WEW Product Repair Service is in addition to and does not affect or reduce the owner’s statutory rights which cover against manufacturing faults and mis-described goods during the statutory period. Please ensure you retain proof of purchase as this will be requested upon making a claim under your statutory rights.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

A handling and repair/replacement fee will be chargeable for each claim made under the WEW Product Repair Service.

Rods - Worldwide Extended Warranty

Rods manufactured since January 2009 are covered by our Worldwide Extended Warranty.

Claims under the Worldwide Extended Warranty are currently subject to the following charges:

£25 handling, administration and return postage and packing charge (per claim). Plus: 10% of the current, or last, Recommended Retail Price of the rod (per section, per claim).
