Student Engagement 8. Reflection This experience was one that I will never forget. From the moment we met Shantae to the actual day of the dinner, I was so excited about it all. I was a little nervous when we began the project because I was unsure of what was going to go on, but after time spent with Shantae she calmed my fears and made me feel great. I think the whole experience really opened my eyes to high risk students. I have been around high risk schools but to actually interact with the students and get to do something so special to them really made me feel special.
