This newsletter is designed for Coffee County Cloverleaf 4-H members and their parents to inform them of upcoming events and information on 4-H and it’s activities. It was created by Kevin Tatum, CEA, and edited by Lisa Craigue, CES. Call (912) 384-1402 for more information or visit our website at <coffee4h.org>.

4-H TARGET SPORTS SIGN UP Don’t forget that this Friday, September 27, is the deadline to sign up for the 4-H BB or Archery teams. Be sure to get in and sign up if you are interested. 4-H OFFICER TRAINING We want to thank the older 4-H members who helped with training our new 4-H Club officers for this school year. We had a great turn out and we appreciate our officers being willing to learn how to be a great officer for their club. CLOVERLEAF 4-H DANCE Coffee County 4-H is interested in host-ing a 4-H dance for 5th and 6th graders. If you would like for us to put on a 4-H dance in the near future, please get your parents and/or grandparents to sign up to chaperon. Remember, we cannot hold a dance without volunteer leaders to chaperon.

4-H FUNDRAISER

We need your help! Coffee County 4-H is offering Hog-N-Bones Boston Butt tickets to sell to the public. The tickets sell for $25, a savings for $5 for these Boston Butts. If you are planning to participate in a 4-H competi-tion or attend summer camp this school year, the profit of $4 per ticket from these ticket sales can be used to pay for your team registration fee or camp fee. Tickets will be available after October 1st. A parent will have to come to the 4-H office to pick up tickets. The tickets can be used until January 2, 2020, to pick up the Boston Butt at the Douglas Hog-N-Bones restaurant anytime during their normal business hours. Remember, this fund raiser is rais-ing money to benefit YOU! So take advantage of it today.

PROJECT MILK

During summer 4-H camp, camp counselors spend their summer working with 4-H’ers to teach them, play games with them, and much more. During the week, they need supplies for their games. If you donate anything from the list, you will receive 20 points for participating in a community service project. Items needed are: face paint, chalk, beads, bracelet cords, bracelet items, markers, crayons, coloring pencils, pens, craft or construction pa-per, kickballs, Frisbees, cards (Uno, Phase 10, or regular playing cards), or a “Bop-It” game. Your help is greatly appreciated by these counselors.
