The Report on Inauguration of EBSB Club
Central Government of India has initiated a Project of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat
through MHRD. The State of Gujarat is paired with the State of Chattisgarh. Under this
initiative, paired states are to exchange their academic and cultural activities to make people
aware about another region of the Nation. Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar
inaugurated the EBSB Club on 13th February, 2020 in presence of a senior officer, Mr.
Dinesh Bandiwadekar and Mr. Urvish Shah, a senior Manager from ISP (International
Service Providers) Co., Surat, Principal, Dr. Mangal Bhatt and other senior faculties and
students of the Institute. The Function was held in the Seminar Hall of the Administration
Building of the Institute at 11am.
Prof. Ashish Prajapati, Nodal Officer of EBSB activities in the College, welcomed all
formally and he briefed the audience about Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat initiative. Sir also
discussed tentative planning of activities under this Project. Prof. Prajapati made an appeal to
the students to participate in various activities under this Project. Mr. Bandiwadekar also
opined that this Project will be a great help in making India one and will provide the flavour
of the Nation to each other. He wished best for the Club and expressed his gratitude for
making him part of this Inaugural function. Principal, Dr. Bhatt expressed hope that students
of the College will make this Project successful with their enthusiastic participation. Prof.
Anand Kalani and Prof. Dhwani Vaishnav will coordinate all the activities under this Project
at the Institute.

1) Display of Posters regarding Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat in different buildings of
the College.
2) Notice Board maintained by Students with information about the paired state
3) Pledge on Swachhta/Single Use of Plastic/Save Water/National Unity – February,
2020
4) Elocution/Essay Writing Competition – March, 2020
5) Painting Competition (related to Chattisgarh State) – April, 2020
6) Screening of film – May, 2020
