Extra:

Player Cards

2005 started out with this kind of player card. You had two inventory slots, one had

items you literally put on, and the other had colours/backgrounds/pins/awards/etc.

(Notice, the Spy Phone on the bottom right corner.)

Page 18: Club Penguin “over the years”. The CP event documentation.

This is how other penguins’ player cards looked to you, the 2nd shaded button, is the

‘Find’ button. (Notice how it is a face instead of the question mark, modern Club

Penguin had.)

This is how a Moderator’s player card looked like back in 2005. (Notice the ‘M’

Badge.)

This is how an online Buddy’s player card looked like.

Page 19: Club Penguin “over the years”. The CP event documentation.

This is how the Player’s Inventory looked like. The Inventory worked a bit differently,

when you clicked on one item, your Penguin would wear it, and the item would

disappear from you inventory and when you removed the item from your Penguin,

the item would appear in your inventory again.

Settings

This is what the ‘Settings’ pop-up looked like back then, notice how there isn’t an

option to mute sound but you can toggle between Ultimate Safe Chat, and then back

to Standard Safe Chat! This stayed from 2005 till 2008, it was changed after CPIP.

Page 20: Club Penguin “over the years”. The CP event documentation.

You didn’t need to use a Parent Account to reset your password! You could log onto

your Penguin and change your password, directly in-game.

Buddy List

The old Buddy List had a “Users In Room” option! This option stayed till the list was

revamped.

Back then, when someone declined your request, you’d get a notification.

When Moderators typed something, their text would be red on the chat log.

Page 21: Club Penguin “over the years”. The CP event documentation.

Servers

The servers in 2005 till 2008, were separated into countries. Australian servers were

released on March 24th 2006.

The servers looked like this from 2005 till April 2006.

Secret Agents

Becoming a PSA Agent in 2005 was a little bit different to 2008.

Page 22: Club Penguin “over the years”. The CP event documentation.

End of Club Penguin 2005. A great start to a great game.
