AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Developing oral and written communication skills in Romanian as a foreign language (RFL) Providing professional instruction and up-to-date hands-on teaching materials Improving the participants’ linguistic and cultural knowledge by organizing leisure and social activities Enriching cultural knowledge in an authentic environment

TARGET GROUP Highly motivated students from all subjects, at BA, MA, Ph.D. or post-doctoral levels, translators and

interpreters in Romanian, business people having Romanian exposure, or any person interested in the study of the Romanian language, culture and civilization (who has turned 18 years old)

COSTS 930 EUR, including:

breakfast – 100 EUR (5 EUR/day); accommodation at the 3* Universitas Hotel, double-room – 210 EUR (10.5 EUR/night); Romanian language courses – 380 EUR/student (they also include a trip to Beliş (Cluj county); social activities – 130 EUR (for e.g.: welcome party, city tour, visit to the Transylvanian Ethnographic

Museum, visit to the “Alexandru Borza” Botanical Garden in Cluj, visit to the Art Museum in Cluj, traditional glass painting workshop, Romanian cooking workshop, Romanian traditional folk dances, Romanian film screening, conferences on different topics, trip to Turda Salt mine and Turda gorges, multicultural evening, farewell party etc.);

a 2-day trip to Maramureş county – 110 EUR. ____________* Optional - accommodation at a 3* hotel in single room – 21 EUR/night- participants can also choose to take only the Romanian language courses and not apply for breakfast, accommodation, social activities and trip to Maramureş within the programme (total cost – 380 EUR); as to the social activities programme, participants can only opt for the whole programme (they cannot choose from the social activities); the 2-day trip to Maramureş is also optional.
