You have been asked to investigate the creation and use of 4 different pre production documents:

• Moodboard

• Mindmap

• Storyboard

• Visualisation

This investigation should be presented in the form of 4 reports including text and imagery.

MINI TASK

Create a mini mood board for a new

Superhero themed TV animated series.

It will be aimed at both genders with a

typical age of 11-16 year olds.

In your moodboard include colours,

scenery, examples of characters, text etc

Give three situations where a mood board might be used. For example: (L4)

• Presenting ideas for the interior of a new car.

• Presenting ideas for a wedding.

Comment on the images in each mood board and how they relate to the theme. Try to comment on factors such as target audience/market, affordability, mood.
