‘My Employee File’ is a part of your Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
supporting you, your line manager and HR manager in driving your career. This section
brings together hiring, job, compensation and personal data in one primary location. It is
also used by HR to monitor changes to your employment records.
This How To Guide aims to give you details on available features and actions you will
perform in the C&me section ‘My Employee File’.
You can also use the How To Guide Appraisal to help you make the most of C&me.
Each employee can access the tool through a unique profile ; depending on their role and responsibilities within the
organisation, specific rights are assigned to that profile, meaning that all expected actions can be completed from the
very same environment .

In this How To Guide, we use 7 specific words (see below) to give you points of reference. They aim to facilitate your
navigation on C&me; so take a look at them and feel free to skip back to this slide if you feel lost!

You can customise your C&me homepage, add or remove portlets, by clicking on . You can also reorganise the portlets by dragging and
dropping them.
Use the portlet to add direct links and quickly access the sections/pages you use the most. To do it, click on .
To access your full profile (job information, personal information, etc.), click either on ‘My Employee File’ in your header menu, or on and then
‘Public Profile’ in the ‘My Info’ portlet.
Access other employees’ profiles by using the search engine (see ).
Keep your objective plan up-to-date through the ‘My Objectives’ portlet.
Keep an eye on your ‘To Do’ portlet; you will see actions appear that you have to perform during the appraisal period.

Navigation principles (3/3)Using the search features
Use the search engine to quickly access the public profiles of all employees.
Type the first letters of the first name or last name. The search engines suggests all the profiles that match with your entry. Mouse over the names
to make the associated business card appear.
From your Employee File, click on your name to access the list of your managers and peers. Click on their names to access their public profiles.
Feel free to use the search engine located at the top of the list to search for other colleagues.
From the header menu, click on ‘Org Chart’, then ‘Directory’. By clicking on ‘Advanced Search’, you can search for colleagues using criteria. You can
access this advanced search with the search engine too, by clicking on .3

Section 1: Public Profile
Click on ‘My Employee File’ in the header menu to reach your Public Profile. This is the place where your main information (name, profile picture,
job position, location, company) are available.
All employees can access your Public Profile, when searching for and clicking on your name in the search engine.
To add a profile picture, click on ‘Edit Profile’. You can also add a background photo from a corporate library.
Note: please share a professional, recent picture.
Click on ‘Finish Now’ to access the edition mode of your profile but also your Mini CV (see slide 11).
Click on in the ‘Org Chart’ to access your full hierarchical line.

Section 2: Personal Information
In the header menu, click on ‘My Employee File’. Once here, click on ‘Personal Information’ in the Employee Files menu.
The ‘Personal Information’ section is composed of 8 portlets, focusing on several items such as your contact information, emergency contacts,
bank account information, and so on (see the table ).
Only you and your HR manager can access this information (your line manager can only see your names, gender and nationality).
First of all, check that the pre-filled information is accurate. If the ‘National Identification Information’, the ‘Biographical Information’, the ‘Work
Permit Info’ or the ‘Dependents’ portlet are wrong, please contact your HR manager.
You can see your previous personal information by clicking on .
If needed, update the editable information by clicking on or on when you are in ‘History’.

Section 3: Employment Information
In the header menu, click on ‘My Employee File’. Once here, click on ‘Employment Information’ in the Employee Files menu.
The ‘Employment Information’ section is composed of 2 portlets, focusing on items related to your current position: organisation information,
working hours,…
Only you, your line managers and your HR manager can access it.
Check that the pre-filled information is accurate. If not, please contact your HR manager.
You can find the name of your line manager in ‘Job Information’, and the name of your HR manager in ‘Job Relationship’.
If you are doing a global assignment, you will see a scroll-down menu appear under your name. You can switch between your usual employee file
and your assignment one by clicking on it.

Section 4: Performance History
In the header menu, click on ‘My Employee File’. Once here, click on ‘Performance History’ in the Employee Files menu.
The Performance History is composed of 4 portlets. It gathers all the information related to performance (appraisal outputs, objectives and
competency ratings), in a single place. The information is retrieved automatically from the ‘Performance’ section and from appraisal forms /
objectives plans.
Only you, your line manager and your HR manager can access it.
Access former appraisal forms within the ‘Performance History Files’.3

The Mini CV is composed of 11 portlets. It gathers in a single place all the relevant information for your HR manager and line manager: your main
personal information, former experience, education, skills, documents,… (see ).
Only you, your line manager and your HR manager can access it.
Check that the pre-filled information is accurate.
If your ‘Internal Job History’, ‘Learning History’ or ‘Expertise’ information is wrong, please contact your HR manager.
Update your information. To do it, click on , then on the .
You can also click on ‘Finish Now’ (see sl.7) to fill in the missing information.
