CMS Press Release 16.12.2015 KARR Property retained by CMS for 140,000 sq. ft. development. Occupying three floors of the 8 storey Cannon Place development, the project is pioneering for the legal sector. Within the 140,000 sq.ſt. of prime office space, CMS has adopted an open plan studio-hybrid model, facilitated by the very latest IT mobility solutions and unified communications. Through the course of the project, KARR Property assisted CMS in overcoming a number of different challenges. In particular, two new dedicated staircases had to be introduced into the building, built above the live Cannon Street railway platforms. Despite these challenges, the building was delivered ahead of program and on-budget. “Our management teams and staff are delighted with the new premises,” said Duncan Weston, Managing Partner for CMS. “They have transformed the way we work and already saved the business £80 million in operating efficiencies. KARR Property made an invaluable contribution to the project’s success.” KARR Property Managing Director Jason Karr, who leads the firm’s London office, said: “We were delighted to be involved with such a prestigious project and partner with CMS. It was a pleasure to work in collaboration with the management team at CMS to deliver this landmark project.” About CMS Founded in 1999, CMS is a full-service top 10 international law firm, based on the number of lawyers (Am Law 2013 Global 100).
