This was very old demand of the association to keep the industry alive and to give boost for marketing the products. The secretary association Ghulam Mohiudin Khan in a statement said that the delegation of (CCIK) Chamber of Commerce & Industries Kashmir headed by its president Muhammad Shafi Khan along with past presidents and office bearers who met Director Mrs. Salma Hameed on 23-04-2013. Prior to this they met several times in the office of the Director. CCIK raised several issues related to handicraft industry.
