The two founders of NewCNC are Tom Galzin and Doug Huizenga. Individually they have decades of experience in woodworking and machinery. Collectively they bring the kind of expertise that will make your project a success. Tom started out as an application engineer and has been programming CNC machines since the early days of punched tape. Doug helped start a company that grew to a large panel processor, cutting particle board by the train car load. Their combined experience meshed perfectly, and so began NewCNC with a simple strategy, use proven technology to give US manufacturers a competitive advantage, and at a price point that makes sense.

The MOTION Series 2 machines are built with a no-compromise philosophy. The moving table design is intended for a 24/7/365 production environment. The 20,000+ weight is a testament to the rigidity inherent in the design. With high output servo drives connected to ground ball screws and a 24hp second generation (HSK63) spindle, this machine powers through your work pieces with unparalleled speed and precision. The nine spindle independent boring block makes short work of the required drilling. The two heads working in tandem can produce up to 75 sheets per shift (100 sheets on a twin table).

The NewCNC 5 Axis machine is the ultimate for your most complicated machining. It is designed to machine five faces of your workpiece as well as surface normal 3D machining for even your most complex modeling. It is available in single and twin table configurations. The table(s) include a modular fixturing system, incorporating both mechanical and vacuum clamping. This duo simplifies your work holding strategies. It uses a 16hp high-speed HSK63 spindle with a 20 tool automatic tool changer. The OSAI control includes an easy to use operator interface, high-speed machining functions, auto tool measurement and electronic handwheel (MPG).

The SMART Series 2 machines incorporate flexibility, power and speed into a machine that is easily cost justified. The heavy duty all steel framework carries a 13hp dual purpose router/shaper spindle. This HSK63 spindle is integrated to a ride along eight tool carousel which minimizes ATC time and extra wear and tear on the machine. The closed loop servo motion is supplied by OSAI electronics. While the power transmission is via a German made helical rack and pinion system utilizing a SIX pinion X and Y axis system. Options include a gear driven lathe attachment which will add a new dimension of capability, or a nine spindle independent boring block to reduce nested sheet cycle times, C-axis rotation and aggregate tools and more. The TALENT Series machines come equipped with a fully automatic ride along tool changer, and a 10hp heavy duty air cooled spindle. It is driven by powerful Yaskawa servos. The cutting forces are supported by oversized THK linear guides. All machines come with centralized lubrication standard. The helical rack and pinion is made by Herion AG of Germany. An OSAI CNC utilizes a fully closed loop motion system. A high-pressure rotary vane vacuum pump securely clamps work material to the multi-zoned table. This versatile and powerful combination is up to the task of cutting wood, plastic, or aluminum material to a three decimal place tolerance. The SHARP Series 2 machine is a fast and precise, three axis, moving bridge-style machine. It is possible to configure this machine with up to three spindles. In effect, it operates like an auto tool changer machine, but by changing spindles rather than changing tools. Built with a welded tubular steel machine base and bridge, and designed to maintain squareness and perpendicularity without the need for periodic corrections. It has a high-quality helical rack and pinion system, with the gantry driven from each side utilizing Yaskawa servos. The 7.5hp rotary vane vacuum pump securely clamps work material to the multi-zoned table. The OSAI industrial controller supports the closed loop positioning of the machine and includes functions like tool radius and length compensation. On the fly override for machine feed and spindle speed make it easy to optimize cutting. This machine is ideal for smaller shops because the footprint is only slightly bigger than the work size of the machine.
