VD’s P-Series CNC turretpunch presses offer a highlevel of efficiency and

productivity in an economicaldesign. Based on LVD’s renownedpunch press technology, P-1212and P-1225 models feature anadvanced control, rugged frameand a proven hydraulic ramsystem to achieve high reliabilityand high throughput.

P-Series 20-ton punch pressesdeliver up to 300 HPM at 25 mmpitch and up to 650 HPM at closepitch. These machines handle arange of material sizes andthicknesses, and accommodate anominal workpiece size of up to 1250 x 2500 mm, dependingon model. Larger workpieces arehandled with sheet repositioning.The patented Smart Clamp™ featureautomatically determines exactclamp positions to provide thesmallest possible no-punch zones.

LA 21-station thick-style turret isengineered for high performance,reliability and ease of use. Three50,8 mm auto-index stations arestandard. These stations canaccept up to 50,8 mm diametertools, as well as today’s mostadvanced tooling innovations,providing optimal flexibility. Toolchangeover is simplified withquick and easy access to multipleturret stations from a large tool-load door.

P-Series punch presses feature asingle-piece stress-relieved bridgeframe and advanced table positioningsystem to achieve accuracy of ± 0,10 mm with a repeatability of± 0,05 mm over the entire table.The rigid bridge frame and precisetool guiding system ensure punchand die alignment to provide longtool life and consistently highquality parts.

P-Series punch presses employ the powerful Fanuc 0iP controlwith self-prompting color displays that simplify use whilemaximizing efficiency.

This design bettercontrols both part tolerance andrepeatability to eliminate backlashand wear for long-term accuracyand reliability. Capacity & Flexibility

P-Series punch presses are equippedwith a 21-station thick-style turret engineered for capacity and flexibility. This versatile turretdesign allows every station toaccept shaped or round punchesand dies, reducing set-up time.

The turret is gear-driven from theouter edge for smooth, preciseand fast tool change. Shot pinassemblies are also mountedbeyond the punch and die locationsto optimize alignment at the toolduring the punch cycle.

■ Large tool door allows easyaccess to the turret for quicktool loading. Quick-change dieholders further reduce turretset-up time.

■ Ability to punch at any locationon the sheet using any turretstation within the nominalsheet size reduces repositioningand maximizes productivity.

■ Generous distance betweenupper and lower turret facilitateshigh forming operations.

■ Joystick mounted near the tool load door provides easy,convenient rotation of theturret for tool changing.

Three Standard Auto-Index StationsP-Series punch presses featurethree 50,8 mm “C” size auto-index stations as standard. Theseprogrammable stations allowshapes to be punched at any angle.Each station accepts tools up to50,8 mm in diameter, includingwheel-style or scribing tools.

Superior PrecisionP-Series turrets feature hardenedsteel guide bushings for accuratepunch and die alignment and are keyed to accept shapes inevery station. Bushings can bequickly and easily replaced,eliminating the need for costlyremachining of the turret.
