Earth needs space…

for observing Earth, understanding how it functions,

monitoring change, predicting violent natural disasters, for probing and exploring our Solar system and the entire

Universe,

... but also ...

A place for technological innovations and a powerful tool for mastering information, checking human activities,

accompanying a strategy of independence...

Space is a privileged place

Our Earth needs space…

Space is vital to the future of humanity

CNES is ready to meet the challenges and realise these ambitions, in its second multi-year contract with the Government, with a vision for space: satellite constellations - the "guardian angles" which preserve and protect our planet for future generations, major missions for exploring the cosmos and the solar system.

In the interests of planet Earth,

"let’s not deprive ourselves of space"
