Hello Presidents and Vice PresidentsBy now your dues must be sent. If you have

not sent your dues, send them in now. For those w hodo ha ve their key c lub dues pa id- good and tha nkyou ve ry muc h! You a re now o ffic ial mem be rs!

If your dues have not been sent, this showstha t the re is a p rob lem. The question is, Did youdelegate work? Keep in mind that there are fivemonths left to your term. Before it is over and timeslips by, think about what legacy you would like toleave behind. Do you want to be known as just an-other president? You could organize one successfulpublicity committee, think of a club cheer, andmake your first ever club shirts. Your actions will beremembered if they step away from the traditional.Dont be afraid to share new ideas and do not beafraid to ask for feedback. When delegating workyou must b e ta c tful. The ne xt c hallenge that c om esis ge tting your idea sta rted . Tell your boa rd m em bersabout this; d o no t keep it to yourself. If you think yourboard members do not care, it doesnt hurt to tellthem. They ma y even c om plain that you do not tell

them anything. So be twee n the preside nt a nd vic epresident (or multiple vice presidents), a lot of con-versat ion should b e g oing on a nd o f co urse w ith theentire bo ard.

It is scary to think about; however, you havefive m onths left to leave a footp rint.

With Fall Rallies North and South behind us,

now is the time to capitalize on this promo-

sure that every member in your club is a paid

During December, the Policies, International, and Elections Com-

    ventions Elections.

Internationa l Boa rd Lea dershipCommittee:

The Key Club International (acronym: KCI) Lead-

ership Committee researched ways to publish and print the

before making a decision on how the KCI Magazine will be

published (whether digitally or by printing) for the 2011-12

year. The Voice Committee is also brainstorming ways to

encourage positive relations between officers at the club,

district, and international levels of Key Club and their

counterparts in Circle K and Kiwanis. Do you want to buy

    UPDATES QUESTIONS

The Offic ial CNH Distric t Newsle0

Registration Forms have been posted on the CyberKey! Pleaselook through the registration forms as soon as possible to prepare

for convention. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to

ask your lieutenant governor, officer reflectors, or an email to Con-

    vention Chair Ben (information below).

DCON General Promotional Flier Two fliers have beenadded onto the CyberKey.

One flier is an online version that is NOT encouraged to be

printed due to its ink-heaviness.The second flier is a printable version that has a white background

and is encouraged to be printed, handed out, and posted on walls.

Please use both to advertise for the 2011 Anaheim District Con-

vention!*Note: please check with your school administration before put-

ting up any Key Club fliers.

The Call to DCON Video is up and running on the CyberKey!Please use this video to advertise convention!

A Ribbon Survey regarding the ribbons you can purchase atconvention will be advertised this month! The deadline for this

survey will be by December 15th, so please take this 1-2 minute

survey and also spread the word!

    This month's question:

What changes have been made in the dress code?

Answer: All shorts, skirts, or dress lengths must be at or below the fingertips

with arms held straight down against the body and the shoulders relaxed.

Also, all shoes must have a back strap or covering on the heel.

    For Key Clubbers:

Q: What responsibilities do I have at District Convention as an atte

    member?

A: As a Key Club member, remember that at all times, it is a privi

along with attending convention, each member should attend each

shop in each session, all general sessions, the Service Expo and M

    For advisors:

Q: What is the maximum number of Key Club members whom I c

    company?

A: Each advisor has a maximum of12 members whom he or she c

company and look after. The reason for this limit is safety. If there a

many members for each advisor to handle, members will not get eno

the attention that they may need in case of emergency situations..
