In November 2014 San Francisco voters will decide on two ballot initiatives regarding Golden Gate Park. The first initiative will protect the Park and Ocean Beach; the second not only supports destroying the western end of the park with artificial turf and stadium lighting, it also has serious implications for all of San Francisco's parks.
