“Dreamtime” by Amangu Artist Wayne Ronan
This is the first in a series of three documents aimed at improving planning, implementation and
success of coastal revegetation projects. These documents include:
A. Pre-planting Revegetation Site Assessment
B. Revegetation Site Management Plan
C. Post-planting Progress Reports & Supporting Documents
NACC has also developed a video guide called “Getting it right: Planning the perfect coastal
planting day” to assist with planning process surrounding your revegetation event. It is available
here: https://youtu.be/Ppg0ZzZw14o
NACC Coastal and Marine Project Officers will assist in the development of these documents in
conjunction with members of the local community group, during an initial visit to a potential
revegetation site. The following equipment is required for a site assessment:
a printed aerial map of the site (this can be accessed from www.narvis.com.au/grants/create-a-map)
Appropriate PPE – hat, sunscreen,
long sleeves and trousers, enclosed
shoes
GPS (inbuilt in smartphones); pH test kit
