Why change?Associates told us they want it.

Why settle for just informing our people when we have the opportunity to

engage and connect them?

Why now? Push communications aren’t working.

What matters most are consistency, clarity, community,

and meaning.

What will it take? A bit of culture shock, risk-taking,

and an investment in new people,

technologies and skills.

Subject: Introducing Chatter – Working Better, Together

Senior Leaders, In order to reach our 2020 Vision, we must work differently.

Open Knowledge Sharing is a key initiative to build capability and competency across our organization. Two of the core strategic pillars of Open are Connect Our People and Leverage What We Know. These are focused on:·        Being committed to sharing what we know with one another.·        Knowing where knowledge and expertise resides across our systems.·        Systematically wiring our company to quickly respond to world events.·        Implementing tools that enable us to be more efficient and responsive.

Early last year our Company launched a pilot for Chatter – a social business networking and collaboration platform. Chatter is the first visible demonstration of our commitment to sharing knowledge faster and more effectively.

After a pilot, its use has since spread organically to more than 17,000 associates worldwide – who are using it to learn faster, make smarter decisions and make new connections across our global enterprise. Soon we’ll announce global availability of Chatter for all associates.

As leaders, I’m asking for your support and endorsement of this new capability so we can collectively achieve our Work Smart vision through platforms like Chatter. Join me in my commitment to being more open by demonstrating your support of Chatter.

Subject: Your Role – Chatter Launch

Dear People Manager,

I’m thrilled about the official launch of our GBS Community in Chatter on Monday, July 30!

As a people manager, you’ll set the tone and pave the way for your team to engage with Chatter. I’m sure you’ll find that it’s a great way to connect, share information and collaborate in real-time regardless of hierarchy, geography or functional area.

As part of our Chatter launch plan, we’ll be sending email blasts to all associates as well as offering weekly info/demo sessions throughout August. In addition, we have designated “Chatter Champions” in each geography who will support local engagement.

Actions Requested:• Attend one of the weekly Info/Demo sessions to

enhance your knowledge of Chatter/Encourage your teams to do so as well

• Update/create your Chatter profile  • Read the “Leader Behaviors in Chatter” slides

(attached)

We already have great momentum and now we’ll officially join over 10,000 of our colleagues and clients around the world!

Thanks in advance for making this launch a success!

Targeted Communications - Leaders & Managers

Page 17: Coca-Cola_Re-imagining Comms

Hello GBS!

I’m excited to welcome you to Chatter – launching today across Global Business Services. Our goal is to make Chatter the real-time place to go to ensure people are up-to-date on what’s happening in the GBS community.

By using this tool effectively, you can provide visibility into what you’re working on, share relevant documents, provide key milestones and give kudos for accomplishments.

The GBS Communications Team will deliver a series of Demo Sessions through August to provide a Chatter overview – but I encourage you to explore Chatter on your own – right now – and gain an understanding of this new world. I expect Chatter to change the game regarding how we receive, and respond to, communications.

For example, over time, we will move some of our messages currently included in our normal communication routines into Chatter – accessible only to those who are actively participating. For me, Chatter has been an opportunity to make meaningful connections that lead to knowledge-sharing and relationship-building.

You should have what you need to start participating in the conversation – going on right now in Chatter.

See you there!
