    This redevelopmen a he pres igious address o 4-6 Burling on Road Dublin provided310,000 sq o Grade A o ce space.

    The design was produced by Tom Hun o CODA, whils wi h HKR or Coolbrook Lwas comple ed in 2009 and has since been success ully le o bo h he Bank o Irelandand Sky.

    High speci ca ion ma erials have been used hroughou bo h ex ernally and in ernallywi h na ural s one, polyes er powder coa ed aluminium, s ainless s eel, glass andcopper.

    The developmen consis s o wo blocks wi h foors varying rom ve o seven over a join lower ground landscaped podium level, wi h basemen level below providing 82 carpark spaces. The foorpla e o each block is designed or maximum na ural ligh , u urefexibili y or sub-division and wi h generous foor o ceiling heigh s.

    The redevelopmen o he ormer buildings occupied by he Irish Times in Dublins CiCen re, on DOliers S ree was comple ed in 2009.

    The projec represen ed a par icular conserva ion challenge, bo h in rela ion o hemanagemen o sensi ive planning views and he rea men o he new building as rela es o he exis ing Pro ec ed S ruc ures on he si e.

    This is a mixed use developmen as par o he Governmen s Digi al Hub fagship projecdevelopmen o he Governmen s Digi al Hub media and innova ive indus ries o alin54,000sqm on a 3.2 acre si e in he his oric S . Jamess Ga e area o Dublin Ci y Cen rThe mas erplan consis ed o a mixed use developmen involving bo h new buildings,renova ion o exis ing la e 18 h and early 19 h Cen ury indus rial buildings (includin

    he larges surviving Smock Windmill in Europe) and design o a new s ree scape.

    The accommoda ion included 7500sqm o high quali y addi ional accommoda ionor he Digi al Hub Developmen Agency; 180 bed 3*plus Ho el; 450 bed S uden

    accommoda ion; 3000sqm Commercial, Re ail and Leisure acili ies.

    The overall cons ruc ion value was es ima ed o be 140m and he schemewas gran ed Planning Permission rom An Bord Pleanala in June 2010.The design o his projec was managed by Iain Pilking on o CODA whils working HKR Archi ec s or P. Elliot & Co.

    CODA are curren ly advising he DHDA on he developmen o heir new mas erplan.

    CODA Archi ec s are designers o new 6000m2 Reposi ory Building rom concepdesign o comple ion o ender documen s. The new acili y is o be buil over 7 levincluding 2 basemen levels, and connec ed o exis ing pro ec ed s ruc ures. Theprojec brie required design compliance o archival s andards BS:5454:2000, andinvolved connec ions and al era ions o exis ing Library buildings. The projec requiredco-ordina ion wi h occupied par s o he campus crea ing 100% si e coverage in acon ned si e.

    CODA has worked wi h he OPW on a number o phases o he Na ional LibrarDevelopmen Plan rom 1999 o he presen . This 25M projec is curren ly ready issue or ender.

    This projec was led by Brian ODonnell wi h Nicki Cloonan ac ing as conserva ioarchi ec . The projec was comple ed in 2009.

    o avoid any peripheral escape s airs hus maximising he unin errup edloorpla es. A o al o 8,600 sq.m. is provided over 6 loors.

    The redevelopmen o Riverhouse provides a approx 6,700 sq.m. o new grade 1 o cespace on he si e o he ormer mo or ax o ce in Dublin 8 in a new 6 foor building. Thbuilding is a simple cen ral core plan wi h clear span foors. A ground foor a generousen rance space is provided addressing he vis a down Wine avern S . while re ail/

    The proposals o redevelop he ormer Guinness Brewery Lands a S James Dock weredeveloped by Tom Hun o CODA or Explore Developmen s (Laing ORourke) ro2006- 2009, whils a HKR Archi ec s.

    The proposals represen ed a mas erplan and archi ec ural design o he 2.2 acrebrown eld si e in cen ral Dublin, wi h he re en ion o he his oric quay walls acanal basin erminus orming an impor an ea ure o he archi ec ural and landscapmas erplan proposals.

    The proposals were developed in close communica ion wi h Dublin CI y Council, whowere keen o see he vision o heir Local Area Plan complied wi h and delivered bys akeholding landowners. The developmen developed over 300, 000sq o o ce area,

    along wi h residen ial, medical and cul ural uses.

    The new Decen ralised Governmen O ces in Dundalk houses a complex mix ounc ions serving he local communi y. The si e or he new Governmen O ces i

    bounded o he eas by he Dundalk Inner Relie road and conceived as a hird pavilionin he new civic parkland.

    The 10,000 sq.m. building is arranged as wo parallel wings in ersec ed by a hirdcurved wing which separa es he new civic en rance cour and provides a priva eo ice cour yard garden.
