This magazine cover has a few of the codes and conventions but it also lacks a few, it doesn’t have any Puff’s, Coverlines or a strip. I think the reasoning for this that it is a minimalistic cover and as it is an indie company the readers of it will most likely already know what the rest of the magazine will contain so they won’t have to advertise it on the front cover.
