Colfax Spirit Day Last Friday’s winning class was: ROOM 16 (Mr. Sepkowitz), ROOM 25 (Ms. Simon) and ROOM 29 (Mr. Lample). Remember to wear your Colfax Shirts on Friday! Holiday Boutique Volunteers Needed Please sign up for the Holiday Boutique (Tues. 12/13 and Wed 12/14) in the Front Office. Sign up sheets are available for the actual days as well as prep and wrap times! For more information or to sign up directly, contact Maribel at [email protected]. Holiday Toy Drive Ends this Friday! Toys will be distributed to families at Colfax who can use a little bit of help this holiday season. Please deposit your unwrapped toy into the Toy Drive Bins near the Morella gate, the Colfax gate and at the Main Gate/Office. Thank you for your generosity! Donor’s Choose: Thanks to a 4 million dollar donation from the Wasserman Foundation, nearly 600,000 families will receive a FREE $15 DonorsChooseLA.org gift card to support a classroom project of their choice. Cards will be given on your behalf to the room reps. Please ask your room rep for details. PTA Reflections Art Contest Congratulations to all the winners moving on to the District-wide level of the PTA Reflections Art Contest: Luca Carrion, Parker Warburton, Naya Ballard, Remy Boul, Dani Biasini, Eva Cortez, Daniel Amiel, Ellie Kim, Zoe Boul, Lauren Notarianni, Julia Alter, Reagan Gonzalez, and Sara Ghadban. www.colfaxelementary.org Fifth Grade Fourth Grade Third Grade Second Grade First Grade Kindergarten Colfax Afterschool Playground The playground is closed to the public afterschool. Evening performances are at 7pm, Sat/Sun matinees are at 2pm.
