Introduction The term “Collaborative Consumption” is been introduced and used,

extensively, in the 21st century and is used to describe a new-type of economic- medium where members of our society have been enabled to interact and profit from others members of our society in the form of standard- profiting and distribution (eg. Sharing, bartering, lending, trading, renting, gifting, swapping, etc), but that now has been re-formatted by the world of social Media and its sub-components.

“Collaborative Consumption” has also been- defined as a rapid-explosion, in terms of both Social Media - capabilities and technologies that it is introducing to our society, and the method it has used to innovate the world of standard economic- distribution/ Trade and simply, global-trade.

Products Service Systems. Products Service Systems is defined as an act of Social- economic trade

where individuals pay or profit for a certain-type of goods or service, in order for these goods or services to be brought directly to them. However, these individuals can use these goods or services without using them, physically.

There are several, different types of Products service Systems, which are currently being used in the world of social-media, on an everyday- basis.

Systems method, include: Car sharing (Zipcar, Streetcar, GoGet) Bike sharing (Velib, Bixi, Oybike, Smartbike) Ride sharing (Zimride, Nuride, GoLoco) Solar Power (Solar City, PretaSol) Toy Sharing (Dim Dom, BabyPlays, Rentatoy) Fashion (Bag Borrow & Steal, Fashionhire, Bagstoriches) Movies (Netflix, Lend A Round) Peer Rental (Zilok, RelayRides, Whipcar)

Redistribution Markets. Redistribution Markets is a system that acts of a certain-amount/ number

of individuals, as opposed to a certain- amount/ number of other- individuals, in which own a certain- type of good or service, that choose to pass on this type of good/service to another- individual, In which is seeking this type of good/ service.

These types of Markets, in terms of the world of Social- media, are constantly being utilized in cyber-communities where members may live and share, within the same- community.

method, include/are: Big marketplaces (craigslist, eBay, Flippid) Free exchanges (Freecycle, Kashless) Swap sites for like goods (MakeUpAlley, Toyswap, Bookmooch) Clothing swaps (SwapStyle, Clothing Exchange) Swap sites for goods of a similar value (Swaptree, SwapSimple, Dig N'Swap) Between neighbours (Neighborhoodgoods, Share Some Sugar)

Collaborative Lifestyles. Collaborative Lifestyles, are based- upon a system that uses the various

mediums of social Media, in order to utilize the exchange, trade and sharing of many, non- physical items. These type of items may include the trade and distribution of self-space, skills, time and self-income.

This type of market has proven to be the most popular in ours society and in our cyber-community, and it has also been proven to become very successful with the upgrade of various, Social Media-based components.

Various Businesses/ Markets, in which use Collaborative Lifestyles techniques in their

trade and distribution, include: Various Businesses/ Markets, in which use Collaborative Lifestyles

techniques in their trade and distribution, include: Coworking (Citizen Space, Hub Culture, The Hub) Social Lending (Zopa, Prosper, The Lending Club) Travel (CouchSurfing, AirBnB, Roomorama, Crashpadder) Bartering (Barterquest, Ourgoods, Bartercard) Gardens (UrbanGardenShare, Landshare, SharedEarth) Skill sharing (Brooklyn Skill Share, TeachStreet) Parking spots (ParkAtMyHouse)

Markets/ Sectors, in which collaborative consumption has impacted. Based upon the affect that the sub-component of Social Media that is

Collaborative Consumption, has had on our society and on the economic-side of our society, and the way that Collaborative Consumption has been- partly responsible in the transformation and upgrade of the various Corporations and Businesses that flow and function within our economic- world.

Drawing from this, the conclusion would be that there has been many Markets and Sectors, In which have been impacted by Collaborative Consumption, in our economic- world.

Markets/ Sectors, Continued…….. Some of these Markets/ Sectors, in-which have been previously- described, include:

Marketplaces such as Ebay.ca , Graigslist.ca and Kijjijjii.ca, where users have been enabled to share, borrow and distribute goods and services. Marketplaces like these have been accelerated by the introduction of various, Social Media-based mediums that have heavily-impacted the way that they, as a whole, function and flow.

Online Social- lending,(Ex. Zopa.ca).

Peer-to-Peer Travel.

Automobile-lending/ sharing (ex. Zipcar.ca, RelayRides.com).

Newly- introduced marketplaces (ex. TaskRabbit, Zimride, Swap.com, thredUP), are also taking- advantage of Collaborative Consumption in the social Media world.

Conclusion/ A brief- outline of Collaborative Consumption. With the introduction of Collaborative Consumption within the Social Media world

and our- society, in- general, and how the new- medium has been slowly- innovating the way that our society and the economic- face of our society. Our society and the economic- side of our society in the Social Media world, has also been influenced and slowly re-constructed in the image that is Collaborative Consumption, and how it is heavily- evident that this new- medium of Social Media is destined to become a powerful- force in the Social Media world and the impact that it may have on our society social and economic- structure, in the near- future.

Alongside this conclusion, there is also evidence pertaining to how Collaborative Consumption may have an impact on our Social and Economic structure in the future, with the current- impact it has already had on these- structures and acting as entity that is constantly- growing within the Social Media world.
