 Prime yield: The yield an i nvestor is preparedto pay to buy a Grade A building, fully-let to highquality tenants at an open market rental value ina prime location. Lease terms should becommensurate with the market e.g. typically 5yrs +.Initial yield = Fi rst years’ net income/purchaseprice (prior to deducting fees and taxes).
