JANE ENGLE MEMORIAL, SATURDAY, JANUARY 20, 3PM, AUDITORIUM: The memorial service will be held in the Auditorium at 3PM and a reception will follow. As a keen lover of nature, Jane was an active and devoted member of the Audubon Naturalist Society. She enjoyed volunteering for and participating in many of the Society’s programs, including their important volunteer water quality monitoring program. Tribute gifts in Jane’s memory may be made to Audubon Naturalist Society and sent to their headquarters at 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Should Continue to Engage in Afghanistan.” He is the Director of the Afghanistan Division of the USAID Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs. Earlier, he had extensive experience in the Peace Corps both as a volunteer and as an administrator. His USAID postings include India and Sri Lanka among others. He is the son of Reg and Liz Smith, Collington residents.
