It has many drawers to keep herbs and medicine

An apothecary had tools like a mortar and pestle to grind herbs in order to make medicine.

Quacks were not real doctors

They made up medicines and sold them for money

They used cures like gun powder, pine cones and kidney beans!

There was no cure but nowadays there is are antibiotics
