NEW! BROADMOOR EVENT CENTER In 2005, The Broadmoor introduced a groundbreaking venue called Broadmoor Hall. It was – and s�ll is – the gold standard of mee�ng and event space with a 60,000 square foot pillarless, carpeted ballroom adjacent to the two addi�onal 18,000 square foot spaces of Interna�onal Center and Colorado Hall. These three buildings, with all their flexibility, are the founda�on of The Broadmoor Event Center.
Now, something new, totally different and very versa�le, is on the horizon. It’s the ideal complement to these four special venues and brings trade shows and exhibi�ons into an exci�ng new era.
Located adjacent to Broadmoor Hall, we are pleased to announce the introduc�on of The Exhibit Hall, a space unlike any other at the resort. The visually stunning design of this 118,000 square foot facility closely matches The Broadmoor and connects to Broadmoor Hall with a 28 foot wide walkway, giving The Exhibit Hall a sense of seamlessness, integra�ng the design into the look and feel of not only The Broadmoor campus, but to the three addi�onal buildings that comprise Broadmoor Mee�ng Complex.
The Exhibit Hall’s striking grand foyer, with large windows looking out to the mountains, is perfect for registra�on or func�on space. The area opens into a func�onal 93,500 square foot hall, with polished concrete floors and 25 foot high black piped ceilings. Capable of holding more than 350 10’X10’ trade show booths, The Exhibit Hall has 18 breakout rooms on the first floor with west-facing views, dedicated food service areas and three sets of restroom facili�es conveniently located adjacent to The Exhibit Hall. The second-floor mezzanine has an addi�onal 14 mee�ng rooms with nearby restrooms, bringing the total number of mee�ng rooms to 32.
The addi�on of The Exhibit Hall brings The Broadmoor to 325,000 square feet of flexible, func�onal mee�ng space of all sizes – from boardrooms to grand ballrooms, and now a specialized space to meet the needs of groups looking for a variety of different venues.

POSITION SUMMARY
Job Title: Director of Na�onal Sales - Exhibi�on and Tradeshow Reports To: Director of Sales Summary: Prospect, nego�ate and book group room nights and exhibit hall space (set at specific goals) to meet and exceed guest room occupancy, guest room average rate, exhibit hall occupancy, exhibit hall revenue goals and booking pace goals. Develop rela�onships with new accounts to ensure repeat bookings and referrals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other du�es may be assigned.
• Responsible for increasing opportunity to book maximum number of room nights, room revenue, and exhibit hall usage in the Tradeshow and Exhibitor markets
• Increase hotel’s ability to maximize annual occupancy with a focus on business from November 1 – April 30th of each year.
• Develop relationships with major Exhibitor companies and related tradeshow businesses and prospect for new business
• Conduct site tours and familiarization trips • Establish good working rela�onships with other departments • Ensure con�nuity of flow for clients and work with Conferences for a seamless transi�on post booking and
throughout the event • Book businesses with best possible ADR and Banquet F&B (keep budgeted figures in forefront) • Travel required to atend industry func�ons (including IAEE) to develop new business contacts and sales leads • Develop and maintain effec�ve rela�onships with ALHI and Preferred with a focus on developing new contacts
and new accounts. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree preferred; six+ years hotel experience; four+ years sales related experience required. Sales experience in the Tradeshow and Exhibi�ons markets preferred. LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regula�ons. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effec�vely present informa�on and respond to ques�ons from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. ABILITY Ability to work with mathema�cal concepts such as probability and sta�s�cal inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as frac�ons, percentages, ra�os, and propor�ons to prac�cal situa�ons. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruc�ons in mathema�cal or diagram form, and ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing so�ware, Spreadsheet so�ware, Accoun�ng so�ware, Payroll systems, Development so�ware, Internet so�ware, Database so�ware, and Contact Management systems.

Shared management of one Sales Assistant. Is responsible for the overall direc�on, coordina�on, and evalua�on of these units.
