Why We Are Here -- Colorado Achievement Gaps

• High school dropout rates across the state;

• Low number of college-bound high school students;

• Low retention & graduation rates (postsecondary);

• State Board of Education and Colorado Commission on Higher Education must adopt a Postsecondary/Workforce Readiness description by December 2009.
