TUESDAY | MAY 1WELCOME | DISCOVERING JEWISH ROMEUpon arrival on May 1st, Italy’s national “labor day”, we will learn about Jewish Rome, discovering the beautiful synagogue and the Jewish Quarter still in existence. Today, there are over 15,000 Jews still living in Rome and it is a thriving Jewish community. Our day will culminate with dinner on the roof-top of our hotel overlooking Piazza Bareberini and an exqui-site view of the city.Overnight: Hotel Bernini Bristol
WEDNESDAY|MAY 2ANCIENT ROMEUnderstanding the Roman Empire can only be done by walking through the city that was. We will discover the Rome through the ancient beauty that still exists and relate it to what we learned in Israel and about Herod and the exile of the Jews. Dinner will be at leisure, allowing you the time to discover great cuisine and wine on your own.Overnight: Hotel Bernini Bristol
THURSDAY | MAY 3THE VATICANWe will visit the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. After some free time for shopping and walking around, we will be hosted by the Jewish community of Rome for home hospitality dinner.Overnight: Hotel Bernini Bristol

MONDAY | APRIL 23WELCOME TO ISRAEL Upon arrival in late afternoon, we will proceed to check into our hotel to freshen up and then we are invited to a special opening dinner and welcome to Israel.Overnight: Hilton, Tel Aviv
TUESDAY | APRIL 24DISCOVERING OUR CONNECTION TO ISRAELOn the eve of Yom Hazikaron – Israel’s Remembrance Day for its fallen soldiers, we will be traveling to our sister region of Be’er Sheva – B’nai Shimon, to connect with our partners and friends in the region. Our visit will culminate with a very special and solemn ceremony for Yom Hazikaron, where we will be accompanying Montreal’s participants on the March of the Living.Overnight: David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem
WEDNESDAY | APRIL 25YOM HAZIKARONOur day will begin with a tour of the Seam-Line, the security fence around Jerusalem, guided by Danny Tirza – the Israeli Colonel in charge of plan-ning the fence. We will then visit the newly renovated world class Israel Museum and meet with the Director General of the Museum. Our day will end with celebrations for Yom Ha’azmaout – Israel’s Independence Day in Jerusalem.Overnight: David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem
THURSDAY | APRIL 26YOM HA�’ATZMAOUTWe will travel to Masada and tour King Herod’s mountain palace and the last stand of the zealots against the Roman Empire. From there we will enjoy lunch and free time to swim or enjoy spa treatments at the Dead Sea. We will culminate our day with dinner at a boutique Israeli winery and enjoy a tour, good wine and great food. Overnight: David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem

FRIDAY | APRIL 27DISCOVERING JERUSALEM AND SHABBATWe will begin our day with a visit of Yad Vashem and Mount Herzl; under-standing one of the most complex and dynamic issues behind the State of Israel. As Jerusalem ushers in Shabbat, we will get to participate and witness first hand the beauty of Shabbat in Jerusalem as we walk through the markets and have some free time to enjoy shopping. We will then make our way to the Old City of Jerusalem and to the Kotel, to usher in Shabbat with thousands of Jews from all over the world. We have invited a number of Lone Soldiers to join us for Shabbat Dinner to make it even more special.Overnight: David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem
SATURDAY | APRIL 28SHABBAT IN JERUSALEMWe will start our day with a walking tour of the old city. Understanding why this beautiful city is the centre for the three major religions. After lunch we will enjoy time to relax, and we will be joined by a guest speaker who will then lead us in Havdalah.Overnight: David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem
SUNDAY | APRIL 29DISCOVERING NORTHERN ISRAELWe will begin our day by traveling to Northern Israel to understand the complexity of the security and political situation on the Northern boarders of Israel. Our day will end with a wine tasting and dinner at the Golan Winery and a drive to Tel Aviv. Overnight: Hilton, Tel Aviv
MONDAY | APRIL 30TEL AVIV �– THE NEW ISRAELOur day in Tel Aviv will include a walking tour of Jaffa and a visit to the Palmach Museum. After which we will have time to shop and prepare for departure from Israel. We will end our mission with a spectacular farewell dinner.Overnight: Hilton, Tel Aviv
