TORRE DE LES HORES

• The bell tower, a corner where we hangcorner where we hang a donkey (not a real one!), one of the main attractions of Carnival.

THE LEGEND OF THE DONKEY•We are called “mata-rucs” (donkey(donkey killers). It is said that we hung ahung a donkey in order to eat some grass from the top of the bell tower.

Solsona’s inhabitants answered: We killed the donkeys and the clevers remained.

CASTANYADA

•It is on the 31st of october. We eat chestnuts, sweet potatoes, pomergranates... We celebrate All Saint’s Day Eve.

CARAMELLES

•“Caramelles” are typical dancings and songs we sing during the Easter holidays.

CONSELL COMARCAL
