"TEAMS' COLLEGE" A NEW TERM

.\ s n J'est!lt of \ Vnke Forest's recent affiliation with

the Southcm Conference, ntlctltic ttutho1·itie and the

Athletic Committee are at present engaged in fonnu lat

ing plans by which the much-publicized "Grnham

Plan" may be put into effect here next year. The gist

of the pla n is an "unsubsidizing" of college athletics.

R egardless of the opinion of many fans, the "Gmham

Plan" will eliminate the widely pre,·alent opinion that

:\.C. J n order for the college to serve you ctrcetively, "certain football teams have good colleges.''
